Our beagle €Archie€ recently had a tumour removed from his knee at you practice in Yate. The service we have received from your vet Adam and all the ladies that work at both the Brimsham and Winterbourne practices has been second to none. We removed Archie from our local vet's a few years ago (although we live within walking distance) because we believed they lost their personal / caring touch. Your staff however have been nothing but caring, thoughtful, informative and above all their level of professionalism has been outstanding. Please pass on our gratitude and thanks to all involved in helping us through this traumatic experience. Words cannot tell you how thankful we are. Yours sincerely Daniel , Louise & Archie Read Less

Really felt I had to put this out there, blown away by the kindness and patience shown to my little boy Harry by the vet called Katie, what an amazing young woman, Harry is terrified of anything different, after 4 spectacularly failed attempts to get him in the vets, to have his claws clipped! She sat in the car with him and did them there, calming him, and showing such kindness despite Harry's reluctance as she clipped his front claws, she is going to clip his back claws, again in the car, in the next couple of weeks, for NO extra charge as she didn't want to stress him out anymore than he already was, I know of no other vet that would be that caring, I can't stress enough how much I appreciated what she did, I shall also be taking her up on the chance of taking him a few times just to get him used to the vets, the place, and maybe one day in the door thank you so much from one very grateful 'dog mummy'Read Less

This practice is in partnership with Brimsam and sadly their animal patient care falls far below the standard that anyone would expect.  Having found faithful cat in a distressed condition with breathing difficulties on Saturday morning, as a result of the emergency situation I rushed up to Brimsham as it was the practice that was open at that time.  I took the cat in and explained the situation.  Sadly having consulted with the Vet the staff refused to assist as we did not have an appointment!! They further stated that we could sit around for until 11.30 (2 and a half hours) but even then them may not be able to help.  Despite appeals from my partner and myself the Vet or staff would not help!  As a result we drove 9 miles to another practice in Bradley Stoke who immediately dealt with the matter as an emergency and established that faithful cat Timmy was having heart failure, they then made his last moments as comfortable as possible.  Would I use Winterbourne or Brimsham vets again.....never!! Used to be wonderful however in recent years the standard has certainly slipped. The practice is usually filled with the irish who appear to have some dodgy business going on with Mark. On my last visit to an afternoon surgery I found there to be 2 young children in the waiting area, a member of staff informed me these were infact the vets children, where exactly was there mother then?! I always found Mark very good: on several consultations, he was efficient and treated my dog with kindness and compassion. The staff were very nice too. Sorry to read about the reviews above, especially the reviewer who said staff actually hit your dog. If I witnessed that,I would have angrily intervened to prevent the person hitting my dog, and I would have seriously complained. No-one - and I mean NO-ONE - should be hitting your dog, no matter how bad your dog's behaviour is. It's simply not for veterinary staff to smack a dog.Read Less

To say I was worried when Mark sold the practice & left is an understatement HOWEVER I am so very grateful to Tom, Will, Rochelle, Tace, Estee, Rebecca, Sam, Chelsee, Dannielle, Amy. They have made the transition for me so easy & I would never look for another veterinary practice. I have my own two lurchers registered there & very regularly visit with foster dogs from a lurcher resuce that I volunteer with. The service, treatment & care provided is simply outstanding. Thank you all so very much x Read Less

Dangerous. I have also moved to Rowe and Bradley Stoke and have found the standard in care fantastic in comparison. Read Less
