They are all very patient and don't rush you out of the room like some previous vets I have been to. Appointments are available quickly and at suitable times for working owners. Very reasonably priced too which is a bonus! I have used them for Cats/Rabbits & Hamsters so far!

Thank you Emma and Derek and the lovely staff there for taking such amazing care of Rosie (and me :-)) We came to you for a second opinion a bit confused and worried and within hours of coming in we had Rosie treated, back home and recovering from an operation to remove lots of big bladder stones. And the cost was very reasonable in comparison; less than half the price of Medivet in Flitwick. Thanks again xxxx

We had direct experience with Derek over many years, and can testify that he is not just special as a vet, but truly unique. Anyone fortunate enough to engage his services will have routine access to the following: great efficiency and reliability; superb diagnostic skills; procedures performed with technical excellence (including major surgery); a genuine gift for relating to pets, no matter how temperamental (including our bipolar Japanese Akita); communication skills that are clear, honest, and compassionate. Derek maintains all these superlatively, but what emerges most clearly is his total and uncompromising commitment to the welfare of his patients. Emma and Derek are fantastic vets! The entire team at Greensands are amazing, unfortunately Lily and me are there more than we would like and each and every time they are so kind and caring. I wouldn't ever considered taking my dog to any other vets, Greensands are amazing! Thank you all for the hard work you do :)

I can not rate Greensands enough! Emma, Derek and the team have been so helpful in getting my little kitten Tilly through a tough 10 months!!! I always get the support and advice I need when I call Greensands from the very helpful reception staff!
With everyone's help Tilly is on the way to being on the mend and I have Greensands to thank for all of that!

Lovely friendly practise where ALL the staff genuinely care for their patients (& sometimes tearful human owners!) They are all very patient and don't rush you out of the room like some previous vets I have been to. Appointments are available quickly and at suitable times for working owners. Very reasonably priced too which is a bonus! I have used them for Cats/Rabbits & Hamsters so far!

The most caring vets I have ever met. Thank you Emma and Derek and the lovely staff there for taking such amazing care of Rosie (and me :-)) We came to you for a second opinion a bit confused and worried and within hours of coming in we had Rosie treated, back home and recovering from an operation to remove lots of big bladder stones. And the cost was very reasonable in comparison; less than half the price of Medivet in Flitwick. Thanks again xxxx

Anyone fortunate enough to engage his services will have routine access to the following: great efficiency and reliability; superb diagnostic skills; procedures performed with technical excellence (including major surgery); a genuine gift for relating to pets, no matter how temperamental (including our bipolar Japanese Akita); communication skills that are clear, honest, and compassionate. Derek maintains all these superlatively, but what emerges most clearly is his total and uncompromising commitment to the welfare of his patients.
