I lost Howie and Jeffrey cat siblings a year apart from each other ages -13 and 14 years old and Milton Keynes Veterinary Group staff were genuinely amazing taking me through the process regarding the inevitable 'end of life' process. Our pets become our family and the connection between us is strong, and the staff really understood the process I was going through. They were warm, empathetic and kind at a time that I felt the saddest. Now I have started over and my young 4 month old kitten is booked in next month for the 'snip', as to where I would take him? It was an easy decision for me remembering how good the staff and consultants were before: I know my new little soul will be in good hands. I know he wont feel it at the time - poor thing! Thank you to the Team and looking forward to seeing you soon.Read Less

I am disgusted with this veterinarian! My beautiful dog Bumble Bee come to the walnut tree surgery for 13 years, in the last 5 years she needed a lot of medical attention due to back problems. Sadly on 29/12/16 she couldn't carry on and was put to rest at walnut tree. The next day I called at 11:30 to see where Bumble was as I wanted 'trusted friends ' to collect her. I was told she was there being looked after and it wasn't a problem. When 'trusted friends' come to collect her she WASN'T there and had been collected in the morning by CPC. I was lied to that she was there when I called and because of the time we found out CPC were closed for bank holiday so I couldn't pick her up from there until Tuesday. On Tuesday I made the arrangements with CPC to collect her which had to be done before 4pm. As my partner was on his way and half an hour from collecting her I received call to say she was at the walnut tree surgery so my partner turned back. Sometime later walnut tree called us to say there had been a mistake and Bumble wasn't there AGAIN so we missed the deadline to collect her from CPC. It is unforgivable that you told me Bumble Bee was there on 2 occasions and she wasn't. I don't understand how there can be any sort of mix up regarding diseased animals. The receptionist's that I spoke to throughout this situation were very blasé and too upbeat considering. No one from the surgery helped me or went above and beyond. Their negligence stopped me from having my dog where I wanted her on 2 occasions. Causing on top of the absolute heartache, stress and worry to everyone that loved her. You really let Bumble Bee and her family down....... I have had no acknowledgment or apology!Read Less

We are really happy with the care that our two GSD's have received from this practice over the years! Both our dogs- Basil and Katya have been poorly ,very poorly! over the last seven months! Basil was diagnosed first with "pancreatits " and unfortunately followed by "Thyroid Cancer" which has spread to the lungs! His care is being shared with "Davies Vets" who are also fabulous specialist vets! However the care we have had from Douglas and his wife Pav for Basil has been excellent! They have been so caring and patient with us answering all our many questions during this difficult time! We couldn't ask for more! A massive THANK YOU to both of you and your team! Our other GSD "Katya" was also very poorly couple of months ago following tooth extraction and had really bad "Ulcerative Colitis " passing large amounts of bloody diarrhoea and needed to be hospitalised on a drip for few days! Compounded by this is her disability with her legs which she was born with! Yet again the treatment she was given was second to none and the Nurses were so caring and patient with her special needs! Again a massive THANK YOU to all of you who were wonderful and especially Vet Lisa! Keep Up The Great Work xxxRead Less
