We have been open over 25 years, and are proud of the standard of care we have maintained for our patients and their owners.
We strive to operate a friendly and welcoming practice, where owners can feel that their pets will receive the attention that they deserve.
We offer a 24 hour emergency service, as well as regular veterinary services such as check ups and vaccinations. All our staff are extremely experienced and dedicated to providing the highest standards of care at all times.

Belgrave are always fantastic when we go in. They are superb with my 3 labradors. One of which is nervous but they handle her very well.

Vets supportive and knowledgeable. Reception staff also. Only downside is we paid in advance for a follow up which never happened as the poor little girl was sadly put to sleep. Was charged for some e...
Vets supportive and knowledgeable. Reception staff also. Only downside is we paid in advance for a follow up which never happened as the poor little girl was sadly put to sleep. Was charged for some extra meds used which was fair enough, but admin seemed unable to understand this point when asking us to settle up. Didn't have the strength to argue so just paid it anyway.
Despite this, I would have no hesitation about recommending Belgrave. Expertise and compassion are beyond reproach, and they have even offered to stay late to see the family dog rather than have him wait until morning, despite it being a relatively minor matter on that occasion. The staff there appear to genuinely care about their furry patients, and you can't ask more than that.

Excels all other vets for mild. They provided top-class care and consideration when my cat needed dental surgery. They took great care of her and had her better in a day. They are reassuring to the owners too, recognising the stress of an animal needing emergency veterinary help. A fabulous vet's.

Found a bat yesterday,took it to belgrave veterinary,they were really helpfull ,passinonate and caring. Sadly the bat never survived,but Thankyou for trying.

We have been bringing our pets to David Urwin and the team at Belgrave House since we got our 1st dog, Bonnie, 26 years ago. We're now on our 5th dog and 5th cat and have received nothing but the best care for both the animals and for ourselves. Excellent treatment and advice, plus compassion when it comes time for the difficult decisions. We would thoroughly recommend them.

David Urwin treats my pets with care and patience. He takes time to explain what he is doing and clearly has a genuine love of animals. He leaves you feeling confident that your pet is in the best of care. I greatly value his extensive knowledge and have confidence and trust in him and the practice. I cannot recommend him and his team highly enough. My dogs enjoy a visit here - what could be more of a validation!

Can't recommend this veterinary surgery enough. Lovely, friendly staff whom really care about animals. The owner, David Urwin, is fantastic and you can tell he really cares about the animals he treats - and he really has a way with them, too! Wouldn't want to take my pets anywhere else. Five stars all around.
