Village Vet Milton

General Info
Village Vet Milton is a thriving Veterinary Practice on the north side of Cambridge in a building known as Maple Cottage. The practice is run by Head Vet Gloria De Palma together with a dedicated team of vets, nurses and receptionists. The vets and nurses offer a full range of veterinary services including puppy and kitten programmes, neutering, vaccination and dentistry.
The nurses also offer a variety of free clinics including: pet slimming clinics, dental checks and nutritional advice. The Milton clinic also benefits from having their own 24 hour emergency clinic next door, so that help is never far away out of hours. Gloria and the rest of the team look forward to seeing you and your pet during your next visit.

Saw me as an emergency evening appointment yesterday with 2 sick baby hedgehogs. Sadly one was euthanised but the other examined and treated. Very professional vet. Understood I knew about hogs so didn’t try and patronise me. Lovely practise. Wish it was a bit closer to me.

I live in Suffolk and needed a Vet as an emergency on Sunday. My dear little boy had to be put to sleep..I didn't get the vets name but thank him for his kindness,his warm caring manner and the gentle way he handled Jack. He was very sensitive to my loss and it meant a lot to me. If I lived nearer I would certainly use this practice for my other dogs.

We have been bringing our cats to Village Vet Milton for check-ups and treatment for several years, and have enjoyed consistently high levels of customer care and expertise in all areas, but our recent experience has exceeded even this. Kristina Peters dealt with our cat's inevitably terminal illness with great compassion and resourcefulness: thanks to her expertise, our girl's final day's were comfortable, and her passing dignified. The human face of professionalism: we thoroughly recommend them across the board, from their receptionists to their expert vets.

Village Vet Milton are an excellent vet practice and I can't rate them highly enough. Our dog's been very ill on numerous occasions since he was a puppy and I'm sure that if it wasn't for the fantastic staff at the practice he wouldn't be with us now. The receptionists, nurses and vets have all been friendly, compassionate and highly professional. I'd never consider taking my dog anywhere else and he still loves everyone who works there despite his numerous appointments. Thank you Village Vet, without you we wouldn't have our best friend.

Not my dogs favourite place but I am more than happy with Village Vets in Milton. The staff are very caring and friendly they are always willing to listen to any concerns I have regarding treatment and procedures and would recommend this practice to my friends and family.

The staff here are always lovely and so caring. We’ve recently had to make the hardest decision and say goodbye to our family dog and Rosie the vet who was with us all was exceptional in her care and reassuring manner, and I can’t thank her and all the staff enough. They take as much time as you need, will suggest all options for treatment but are understanding about cost etc. This is the best vets I’ve used and have experience of several.

Shame that this vet has become so money orintated. Used to use them every time we had something wrong with an adult or a litter of puppies, even for out of hours. But they have become so expensive, and there out of hours is ridiculous. Also continual staff turn around so can never get to be known as an individual who cares for you as a customer with a need. Wouldn't recommend and definitely will be moving vet. unfortunately they know they are one of the only emergency vets around cambridge but that's not a fair excuse to charge ludicrous prices.

This is the best vet I have used. Overall their pricing has been fair (actually cheaper than my old vet) and they run offers on treatments and boosters which is not something I’ve found before.
Most importantly their care of my cats has been wonderful. One of my cats has had some issues this year and it’s been great that every time I have attended with him we have seen the same vet (even just for boosters). The vet therefore has a good personal knowledge of the history of my animal without me having to explain and the service feels that much more personal which I really like.

Generally speaking an excellent vet practice, some members of staff better customer facing skills than others as with all pubic service businesses,. Kristina and Sarah are my preferred vets with v good/well developed bedside manner. Appointments widely available at convenient times, parking, clean and well maintained premises and good follow-up care. Possibly not the cheapest vets but I would recommend in preference to other locals which I also have experience of

Village Vet Milton are an excellent vet practice and I can't rate them highly enough. Our dog's been very ill on numerous occasions since he was a puppy and I'm sure that if it wasn't for the fantastic staff at the practice he wouldn't be with us now. The receptionists, nurses and vets have all been friendly, compassionate and highly professional. This is the best vet I have used. Overall their pricing has been fair (actually cheaper than my old vet) and they run offers on treatments and boosters which is not something I’ve found before.
