General Info
Broadway Veterinary Hospital is a large hospital with a roomy reception area and four consultation rooms. The nurses utilise one of these rooms for discharging patients, holding their puppy, diet and geriatric classes.
The Hospital is very well equipped including Digital Xray, Ultra Sound, ECG, Rigid & Flexible Endoscopes, Diathermy, fully pumped dental tub table and full Ultrasonic kit, Isoflurane, Cryo Surgery, ASIF kits, Incubator, Operating Microscope and a very well equipped laboratory.
Opening hours Mon – Fri: 9am-7pm Sat: 9am – 6pm Sun: 10am – 12pm

I took my dog chocolate in there she was 7months old, they didn’t even have her 8 hours and I was charged over £1000, it didn’t even put a patch on her for the treatment she had she wasn’t looking any different from when I first dropped her off!
She was there from 6am till 10am I went back to see her, They wouldn’t let me carry on with treatment they wanted me to put her to sleep even though I had the money to carry it on, this is without insurance,
sadly I had her put to sleep as I didn’t know what to do.. they wouldn’t stop pestering me. My other dog also was ill but I took him to a different vets he cost me £150 for the same treatment everything and he came back home with me Perfectly fine just had to keep an eye on him! A week later he was completely recovered back to himself.
I was so disappointed
I asked for a second opinion at another vets and they told me she could have still been here today if I took her there at 8am when they opened.. I was so gutted then saw loads of bad review all over Facebook and on the internet 😫😫
NEVER TAKE YOUR PETS HERE!! THEY ARE ANIMAL KILLERS
I am still destroyed now from loosing my beautiful puppy chocolate, I wish I just waited to take her to another vets...
I hate this vets and would never ever take my pets here again!

Wife took our cat in for a pre-arranged visit, knew the cost & had sufficient funds to pay, Vet decided to give additional treatment with no prior consultation resulting in major embarrassment at the pay desk as we obviously hadn't got enough cash on us. A later visit & the Vet decided the cat had Cancer, no blood test or detailed examination & my wife left distraught, a 2nd opinion discovered the issue was a large grass dart in the ear canal !!!!

Our dog swallowed an ibuprofen tablet on a Sunday morning. Our own vet’s emergency line didn’t work so after ringing another vet in the area I was given this number. They couldn’t have been kinder to us or our dog. She was taken away for immediate treatment and kept under observation until the evening when we picked her up after the blood test results came back as normal. I wish we lived in Peterborough - the vet and the staff were great and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them.

Agree with previous posts about surly and rude out of hours receptionist. Maybe they should invest in some professional development training on how to conduct a polite, courteous telephone manner. Hor...
Agree with previous posts about surly and rude out of hours receptionist. Maybe they should invest in some professional development training on how to conduct a polite, courteous telephone manner. Horrendously unhelpful with no "sorry we can't help, but you might like to try x,y or z vets..." A shame because these vets do a minimum of 5 years training and no doubt work hard, only to be represented by a surly receptionist, who obviously has little regard for the practise she is representing. Oh and she lied... out of hours vets DO have a legal obligation to take in stray dogs overnight...actually....and if they were full, she could have politely explained so and given me alternative contacts...

The surgery closed at 7pm last night but they were understanding and kind enough to allow me to pick up a collar and lead that my family had left behind. Their beloved Lucy was put to sleep and in the emotions of it all they drove home without her things - they don't live in Peterborough. The surgery opened their doors to me after hours to allow me to collect her things and could not have been more understanding. The family of Lucy are grateful for this gesture.

It's my daughter's experience I'm posting . She had her Tamaskan puppy neutered at this hospital and was totally happy with every aspect of his care . They even rang to explain they needed to sedate him before taking blood as he was so anxious and getting distressed .
He came home happy and unfazed . The wound was minimal and clean , after care was excellent .
My poodle is now booked in for spaying next week with my full confidence .

After reading the reviews for this veterinary practice I was a little worried, but have no fear! The service here was fantastic. Total reassurance from start to finish. My SBT (Millie) has just had TPLO surgery and couldn't fault anything. Well worth all the trips back and forth from corby. Remember people only tend to leave negative feedback.

the staff at the reception have a very unpleasant attitude, one of them hung up on me while I was talking to her on the phone. The vet himself appears to have a very poor knowledge and communication skills and he seems to have bad reputation with other vet surgeries. Would never go there again!

I took my dog chocolate in there she was 7months old, they didn’t even have her 8 hours and I was charged over £1000, it didn’t even put a patch on her for the treatment she had she wasn’t looking any different from when I first dropped her off!

Our dog swallowed an ibuprofen tablet on a Sunday morning. Our own vet’s emergency line didn’t work so after ringing another vet in the area I was given this number. They couldn’t have been kinder to us or our dog. She was taken away for immediate treatment and kept under observation until the evening when we picked her up after the blood test results came back as normal. I wish we lived in Peterborough - the vet and the staff were great and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them.

Agree with previous posts about surly and rude out of hours receptionist. Maybe they should invest in some professional development training on how to conduct a polite, courteous telephone manner. It's my daughter's experience I'm posting . She had her Tamaskan puppy neutered at this hospital and was totally happy with every aspect of his care . They even rang to explain they needed to sedate him before taking blood as he was so anxious and getting distressed .
He came home happy and unfazed . The wound was minimal and clean , after care was excellent .
My poodle is now booked in for spaying next week with my full confidence .

After reading the reviews for this veterinary practice I was a little worried, but have no fear! The service here was fantastic. Total reassurance from start to finish.
