My partner, Helen Hayward took our Belle in to this practice. We had used them before when our other black pug; known as 'The tank.' - because of her portly frame- had a touch of mange. Both times we were treat with integrity and respect. The vet; a lovely lady called Anne was very honest in the fact that our Belle was struggling. But to my partners delight they had set aside a private room in which my partner could sit with her dog on arrival. What a touching and lovely thing to do. I don't know whether this is protocol for everyone that comes in with a sick animal, but I find it a very moving gesture. Anne if we ever cross paths my lovely a Starbucks. You are a lady with an impeccable bedside manner when it comes to nurturing pets. 5 star all round.

All of the staff here are amazing. I have a seven year old Labrador who is very nervous and finds being around new people very stressful. Ruth has taken the time to gain her trust and now she loves the vets! The reception staff are always very helpful and understanding of my dog’s needs. I have never had a negative experience at this vets.
If you want to take your pet somewhere that they will feel welcome and loved, this is the vets for you.

We love this Vets surgery, we have a cat and a very excitable Cockapoo and both are looked after very well. All the staff are brilliant and the puppy parties they hold are better than dog obedience training elsewhere. I am hoping that they expand to offer training classes as the knowledge the staff have is considerably more than surrounding classes. Highly recommend them and the pet clubs are great value for money.

I feel comfortable with these vets as they listen and appreciate the owners feelings as well as the dogs. They do try to make it more of a social visit causing less stress all round.

Vet is warm, friendly and professional. Gives clear, precise advice and handles my Cat gently. You can see the love and care they truly have for your fur baby and equally the owner/carer. The experience for our puppies was great, very caring and very informative. Unfortunately we had to put our puppies up for adoption due to allergies developed by our son. We informed the practice, but still received SMS messages informing us of their vaccine schedule. We then received a late notice reminder on a bill that was due I wasn't aware of with no method to contact or pay. I'm now being contacted by a debt collection company for over £90 due to failure to pay. The practice have got my phone numbers and email address and yet have made no attempt to contact me at any point to resolve this; they went straight to a debt collection agency who added their own fees on. I tried to speak to them in the practice and they had no way of resolving the matter. Very disappointed.

We had to take Zak our 17 year old cat there today. Peter, the vet was truely amazing in giving us all the information about Zak's condition & the advice we needed to make the sad choice to have Zak put to sleep. He was so caring & compassionate & gave us all the time we needed to say goodbye. He was absolutely brilliant & Zak went very peacefully. Thankyou so much for making this as easy as possible for us & I would totally recommend them.

This is a post to express my appreciation for all the staff at Hampton vets. My two beloved cats, sasha and jazzy had been under your care for several years. Unfortunately, I lost Sasha last year at 17 years of age and jazzy this weekend at 18 years of age. My cats were everything to me and it was imperative to me that they were cared for by people that genuinely cared. Jazzy had so many health problems and Hampton vets went above and beyond to find a treatment that worked for him to keep him healthy. Unfortunately,old age caught them both and I had to send them both over the rainbow bridge. I would like to say thank you to all the vets, nurses and staff at Hampton for everything you do and have done for my two fluff balls over the year. I'd especially like to thank Jessica Power for her ongoing treatment of Jazzy. Jess went above and beyond what I expected of any vet to find Jazz alternative treatments for his ailments and for that, I'm forever indebted. Jess probably gave me another two years with jazz which I doubt I wouldn't have had if it wasn't for her seeking out alternative options. And secondly I'd like to thank Ruth Blowers for taking jazzy in on Saturday night when he was ready to go. Ruth made a very difficult heartbreaking situation as easy as it could be in the circumstances and I can't thank her enough for that. I know this post is long but if you are looking at recommendation for a vets, this is your place. I'm going to miss coming in and seeing all the animals in the waiting room but thank you so much for the care that you provided to sasha and jazzy in the time that they were with you x

Cannot rate Hampton Veterinary Surgery highly enough. Always give a thorough examination/weight check and every time Nico goes for his boosters he's so happy to meet everyone and it's obvious the staff love him as they end up feeding him chicken, sitting on the floor fussing/cuddling him for ages and then end up playing in the waiting room with him and his new toys, after the vet decided to cut the tags off for him so he could play! Never once have I seen him scared to go to the vets and that makes me trust them so much knowing he's happy!

Oh how disappointing! Having taken my now 19 year old cat to this centre before, I arrived at the practice today to get another course of flea treatment, as I had noticed her scratching over the last few days and know how quickly it can all get out of control. I was told that as the cat had not been weighed for 12 months they could not sell me the treatment needed - I could have an alternative sold by them but would not work!!! Apparently the alternative does not kill the eggs. What indeed was the point of selling me something that was not going to work but they would if I took the cat in for a check up and sell me something that did work? (I have no objection to this should the cat be ill but as the cat had been before and prescribed treatment I felt it was just a way of making money and I was already to pay the £30 that I was charge last time.) The receptionist was not to be budged. Obviously not a cat person and not aware of how uncomfortable cats are when they have fleas. So not only will I not be going back I did however source the same treatment elsewhere in Peterborough without the cat being weighed and only paid £16.00. I guess my cat and I will not be returning.

We found a cat that had passed away this morning after being knocked over outside our house in Stilton. Tried to locate an owner through various sites on Facebook but no joy. Hampton vets were lovely and said to bring the cat to them and they would check for a chip. Unfortunately the cat wasn't chipped so the lovely vet said they would keep the cat for a week and hopefully someone would come forward. Thank you so much for your help today! X

Vet is warm, friendly and professional. Gives clear, precise advice and handles my Cat gently. You can see the love and care they truly have for your fur baby and equally the owner/carer. The experience for our puppies was great, very caring and very informative. Unfortunately we had to put our puppies up for adoption due to allergies developed by our son. We informed the practice, but still received SMS messages informing us of their vaccine schedule. We then received a late notice reminder on a bill that was due I wasn't aware of with no method to contact or pay. I'm now being contacted by a debt collection company for over £90 due to failure to pay. The practice have got my phone numbers and email address and yet have made no attempt to contact me at any point to resolve this; they went straight to a debt collection agency who added their own fees on. I tried to speak to them in the practice and they had no way of resolving the matter. Very disappointed.

Great vets. Have helped with usual health issues, checkups, immunisation etc But were also incredibly kind and helpful during the illness and passing of our cat. Very lovely.

We had to take Zak our 17 year old cat there today. Peter, the vet was truely amazing in giving us all the information about Zak's condition & the advice we needed to make the sad choice to have Zak put to sleep. He was so caring & compassionate & gave us all the time we needed to say goodbye. He was absolutely brilliant & Zak went very peacefully. Thankyou so much for making this as easy as possible for us & I would totally recommend them.

This is a post to express my appreciation for all the staff at Hampton vets. My two beloved cats, sasha and jazzy had been under your care for several years. Unfortunately, I lost Sasha last year at 17 years of age and jazzy this weekend at 18 years of age. My cats were everything to me and it was imperative to me that they were cared for by people that genuinely cared. Jazzy had so many health problems and Hampton vets went above and beyond to find a treatment that worked for him to keep him healthy. Unfortunately,old age caught them both and I had to send them both over the rainbow bridge. I would like to say thank you to all the vets, nurses and staff at Hampton for everything you do and have done for my two fluff balls over the year. I'd especially like to thank Jessica Power for her ongoing treatment of Jazzy. Jess went above and beyond what I expected of any vet to find Jazz alternative treatments for his ailments and for that, I'm forever indebted. Jess probably gave me another two years with jazz which I doubt I wouldn't have had if it wasn't for her seeking out alternative options. And secondly I'd like to thank Ruth Blowers for taking jazzy in on Saturday night when he was ready to go. Ruth made a very difficult heartbreaking situation as easy as it could be in the circumstances and I can't thank her enough for that. I know this post is long but if you are looking at recommendation for a vets, this is your place. I'm going to miss coming in and seeing all the animals in the waiting room but thank you so much for the care that you provided to sasha and jazzy in the time that they were with you x

I have used this vet on a few occasions and always found everyone to be helpful, friendly and never feel rushed, even though they are always busy. They seem generally concerned about caring about the pet and making sure you understand the care the pet is receiving. Good flexible and long opening times. I have recommended this practice to a few people after the great service I have received.

Cannot rate Hampton Veterinary Surgery highly enough. Always give a thorough examination/weight check and every time Nico goes for his boosters he's so happy to meet everyone and it's obvious the staff love him as they end up feeding him chicken, sitting on the floor fussing/cuddling him for ages and then end up playing in the waiting room with him and his new toys, after the vet decided to cut the tags off for him so he could play! Never once have I seen him scared to go to the vets and that makes me trust them so much knowing he's happy!

Oh how disappointing! Having taken my now 19 year old cat to this centre before, I arrived at the practice today to get another course of flea treatment, as I had noticed her scratching over the last few days and know how quickly it can all get out of control. I was told that as the cat had not been weighed for 12 months they could not sell me the treatment needed - I could have an alternative sold by them but would not work!!! Apparently the alternative does not kill the eggs. What indeed was the point of selling me something that was not going to work but they would if I took the cat in for a check up and sell me something that did work? (I have no objection to this should the cat be ill but as the cat had been before and prescribed treatment I felt it was just a way of making money and I was already to pay the £30 that I was charge last time.) The receptionist was not to be budged. Obviously not a cat person and not aware of how uncomfortable cats are when they have fleas. So not only will I not be going back I did however source the same treatment elsewhere in Peterborough without the cat being weighed and only paid £16.00. I guess my cat and I will not be returning.

We found a cat that had passed away this morning after being knocked over outside our house in Stilton. Tried to locate an owner through various sites on Facebook but no joy. Hampton vets were lovely and said to bring the cat to them and they would check for a chip. Unfortunately the cat wasn't chipped so the lovely vet said they would keep the cat for a week and hopefully someone would come forward. Thank you so much for your help today! X

Sadly our pet had to be put to sleep but the staff were great and I can't fault them in any way. This morning I received a sympathy card from the vets which is very much appreciated.
