The experience for our puppies was great, very caring and very informative. Unfortunately we had to put our puppies up for adoption due to allergies developed by our son. We informed the practice, but still received SMS messages informing us of their vaccine schedule. We then received a late notice reminder on a bill that was due I wasn't aware of with no method to contact or pay. I'm now being contacted by a debt collection company for over £90 due to failure to pay. The practice have got my phone numbers and email address and yet have made no attempt to contact me at any point to resolve this; they went straight to a debt collection agency who added their own fees on. I tried to speak to them in the practice and they had no way of resolving the matter. Very disappointed. Read Less

We had to take Zak our 17 year old cat there today. Peter, the vet was truely amazing in giving us all the information about Zak's condition & the advice we needed to make the sad choice to have Zak put to sleep. He was so caring & compassionate & gave us all the time we needed to say goodbye. He was absolutely brilliant & Zak went very peacefully. This is a post to express my appreciation for all the staff at Hampton vets. My two beloved cats, sasha and jazzy had been under your care for several years. Unfortunately, I lost Sasha last year at 17 years of age and jazzy this weekend at 18 years of age. My cats were everything to me and it was imperative to me that they were cared for by people that genuinely cared. Jazzy had so many health problems and Hampton vets went above and beyond to find a treatment that worked for him to keep him healthy. Unfortunately,old age caught them both and I had to send them both over the rainbow bridge. I would like to say thank you to all the vets, nurses and staff at Hampton for everything you do and have done for my two fluff balls over the year. I'd especially like to thank Jessica Power for her ongoing treatment of Jazzy. Jess went above and beyond what I expected of any vet to find Jazz alternative treatments for his ailments and for that, I'm forever indebted. Jess probably gave me another two years with jazz which I doubt I wouldn't have had if it wasn't for her seeking out alternative options. And secondly I'd like to thank Ruth Blowers for taking jazzy in on Saturday night when he was ready to go. Ruth made a very difficult heartbreaking situation as easy as it could be in the circumstances and I can't thank her enough for that. I know this post is long but if you are looking at recommendation for a vets, this is your place. I'm going to miss coming in and seeing all the animals in the waiting room but thank you so much for the care that you provided to sasha and jazzy in the time that they were with you xRead Less

They treat my dog Spotlee excellently, service is amazing and they're super friendly. Would recommend to anyone with a pet. We also belong to their pet plan and pay monthly to get annual health checks and boosters. Read Less

I have used this vet on a few occasions and always found everyone to be helpful, friendly and never feel rushed, even though they are always busy. They seem generally concerned about caring about the pet and making sure you understand the care the pet is receiving. Good flexible and long opening times. Cannot rate Hampton Veterinary Surgery highly enough. Always give a thorough examination/weight check and every time Nico goes for his boosters he's so happy to meet everyone and it's obvious the staff love him as they end up feeding him chicken, sitting on the floor fussing/cuddling him for ages and then end up playing in the waiting room with him and his new toys, after the vet decided to cut the tags off for him so he could play! Never once have I seen him scared to go to the vets and that makes me trust them so much knowing he's happy! Read Less

Oh how disappointing! Having taken my now 19 year old cat to this centre before, I arrived at the practice today to get another course of flea treatment, as I had noticed her scratching over the last few days and know how quickly it can all get out of control. I was told that as the cat had not been weighed for 12 months they could not sell me the treatment needed - I could have an alternative sold by them but would not work!!! Apparently the alternative does not kill the eggs. What indeed was the point of selling me something that was not going to work but they would if I took the cat in for a check up and sell me something that did work? (I have no objection to this should the cat be ill but as the cat had been before and prescribed treatment I felt it was just a way of making money and I was already to pay the £30 that I was charge last time.) The receptionist was not to be budged. Obviously not a cat person and not aware of how uncomfortable cats are when they have fleas. So not only will I not be going back I did however source the same treatment elsewhere in Peterborough without the cat being weighed and only paid £16.00. I guess my cat and I will not be returning. We found a cat that had passed away this morning after being knocked over outside our house in Stilton. Tried to locate an owner through various sites on Facebook but no joy. Hampton vets were lovely and said to bring the cat to them and they would check for a chip. Unfortunately the cat wasn't chipped so the lovely vet said they would keep the cat for a week and hopefully someone would come forward. Thank you so much for your help today! X Read Less

Despite not being registered with Hampton vets we were seen within minutes of me calling them in an emergency. Sadly our pet had to be put to sleep but the staff were great and I can't fault them in any way. This morning I received a sympathy card from the vets which is very much appreciated. Absolutely fantastic. I honestly can't praise them enough. Unfortunately my cat was involved in 2 separate accidents, and they were able to see us straight away and start treatment immediately. Our cat has been sick for the past year.. and weren't getting any answers from our regular vets.. so we decided to change to Hampton vet... We are really pleased we did as they are very friendly and willing to help and we are finally getting answers for Mary (our cat) and she is having regular checkups..she also seems to be very happy and relaxed during her checkups.. so we are pleased about that too..Thank you for all you have done for Mary so far...
