The Oundle Veterinary Surgery is excellent, but keeping a pet is very expensive. The cost of non prescription, over the counter medication such as worming pills etc., can be purchased on the Internet for a fraction of the price charged by the surgery. For example, DRONTAL plus which costs 5.45 per tablet can be bought for 1.50 per tablet from Pet Drugs Online, a huge saving over a year.

Just want to say I was blown away by the kindness of Oundle Veterinary yesterday. My kids found a very wounded pigeon at Barnwell Park and they (we) couldn't leave it to suffer alone. It was bleeding,...
Just want to say I was blown away by the kindness of Oundle Veterinary yesterday. My kids found a very wounded pigeon at Barnwell Park and they (we) couldn't leave it to suffer alone. It was bleeding, couldn't walk, or lift its head, and had one eye little poor thing. The kids insisted I take it to the vets where I was sure it would be turned away bringing in a wild animal at closing time, but I was so wrong! They took it in right away and the doctor immediately began treating it, then thankfully my daughter could stop crying! Thank you Oundle Vets!!

Oundle vets have been incredible with all of my animals. Recently they performed a really tricky eye removal surgery on one of my rats and I was really grateful for their skill and for all of the post-op check ups that aren't paid for. They really looked after her! It's amazing what they can do.

Magnificent service from everyone from the receptionists to the vets & nurses. My dog could not be in a better place, he is loved and looked after by everyone like he is one of their own. A very worrying and upsetting time for me, communication could not be better. Special thanks to Chrissy and "off site" advice from Karen & Nick whilst watching their children playing sport. Hoping my dog comes through this, but I know that these wonderful people at Oundle Vets could not be doing more.

Message to nick and Karen. Thank vicky for coming out to jess yesterday. I know she had a long busy day. The old girl had a good long innings and has been well cared for by you all and your team. Karen doing her mammary op , riette delivering all those puppies, nick and the girls with the blasted tail, stolen chocolate at Christmas and the recent glass bowl of chilli!! I could go on.... It meant the world that the girls came out to the house particularly as we are away on holiday. I'm sad not have been with her but hey, what a great life she had. Just want to say I was blown away by the kindness of Oundle Veterinary yesterday. My kids found a very wounded pigeon at Barnwell Park and they (we) couldn't leave it to suffer alone. It was bleeding, couldn't walk, or lift its head, and had one eye little poor thing.
