Helped a lot when we had a massive issue with our Weimaraner and his prostatic abuses. Other "vets" referred us to a pricey specialist in Cambridge saying they don't know how to help us(vets near asda) so we turned to Pengelly and Mizen who were able to sort things out ! After two weeks of antibiotics that should've been prescribed long time before, dog was back to normal. Many thanks to yhe whole team who are friendly and actually take care of the dog patient - not the owners wallet.

I would highly recommend this vets to anyone. Been taking my dog there since he was a puppy and is now 12. Had no problems with him over the years until one day playing with his toy shaking his head, then by hitting his ear with the toy leading to Hematoma. At first it could be popped and be fine but after a while it wouldn't stop so which lead to having surgery. He has now made a full recovery. Expect he's lost one of his big ears as don't stand up anymore. He's still cute though. 😙Very welcoming and very helpful. Keep up the good work guys 😆 Thanks again. X

We have used this veterinary surgery for more than forty years. I would never contemplate using another surgery unless it was a dire emergency far away from home. We have even cut short a holiday to come home with our dog who needed treatment.
Over the years we have had numerous dogs and cats and have never experienced any problems seeing a vet at any time including on two occasions at eleven o'clock at night.
All of the staff are caring and compassionate and treat our pets as though they are theirs.
We have just acquired a tortoise who was poorly and he was treated with the same care as any of our other animals.
I always recommend Pengelly and Mizen to people who ask about vets. I cannot praise them enough.

Helped a lot when we had a massive issue with our Weimaraner and his prostatic abuses. Other "vets" referred us to a pricey specialist in Cambridge saying they don't know how to help us(vets near asda) so we turned to Pengelly and Mizen who were able to sort things out ! After two weeks of antibiotics that should've been prescribed long time before, dog was back to normal. Many thanks to yhe whole team who are friendly and actually take care of the dog patient - not the owners wallet.

I would highly recommend this vets to anyone. Been taking my dog there since he was a puppy and is now 12. Had no problems with him over the years until one day playing with his toy shaking his head, then by hitting his ear with the toy leading to Hematoma. At first it could be popped and be fine but after a while it wouldn't stop so which lead to having surgery. He has now made a full recovery. Expect he's lost one of his big ears as don't stand up anymore. He's still cute though. 😙Very welcoming and very helpful. Keep up the good work guys 😆 Thanks again. X

We have used this veterinary surgery for more than forty years. I would never contemplate using another surgery unless it was a dire emergency far away from home. We have even cut short a holiday to come home with our dog who needed treatment.
Over the years we have had numerous dogs and cats and have never experienced any problems seeing a vet at any time including on two occasions at eleven o'clock at night.
All of the staff are caring and compassionate and treat our pets as though they are theirs.
We have just acquired a tortoise who was poorly and he was treated with the same care as any of our other animals.
I always recommend Pengelly and Mizen to people who ask about vets. I cannot praise them enough.

Can't say enough about all that work there, they are all very kind and go out of their way and more to help all their patients and support all us owners in good times and bad. We have taken all our different animals to them for many years, they have helped us a lot over the last 9 months when my sons cat burnt his leg very badly and is still under going treatment, with out their care, knowledge and patience the leg might have had to be removed.
