Altrincham Vets4Pets

Altrincham, Cheshire
General Info
At Vets4Pets we know your pet is a much loved part of the family and you want them to enjoy a long, healthy life. This is why our veterinary teams, made up of animal loving experts, firmly believe in providing the highest level of care and treating every pet they see like they would their own.
Every Vets4Pets practice is equipped with the latest in technology, which means we can offer your pets the personalised care they need. Our practices are also designed to make your pet’s time with us as comfortable as possible; just like kids don’t always like going to the dentist, we know pets don’t always like going to the vets! Our waiting areas are light and spacious (and with floors that can cope with little accidents) and we also have separate dog and cat wards so your pet can recuperate more comfortably after any treatment.
Our vets will explain all clinical terms so you fully understand what is happening to your pet and you are fully involved in their treatment plan. This also includes being completely transparent in our pricing, so you can make an informed choice on the treatment that you want your pet to receive.
Come and see for yourself at your local Vets4Pets, why not take a practice tour?

Wonderful staff and service- we brought in an injured wood pigeon that had been shot with a pellet and bleeding from its wing (...some individuals don’t deserve to breathe). My hubby and I love birds and from us bringing him straight in there he was treated cared for instantly. The staff constantly kept in touch with us letting us know the pigeon’s progress as we we were planning to release him if he got better. Unfortunately we received a call that the bird had a shattered wing and the pellet had pierced a number of places, and therefore he was PTS while under GA... The staff were absolutely wonderful and even though it wasn’t our pet, it shown how much they care about all animals and just how good they are at their jobs. Thank you for everything! Read Less

I am a self pay pet owner. I trusted V4P to operate on my dog for entropion. A few months later the operation was not a success and the surgery want to charge me again. This was never mentioned at the initial consultation. On top of this, the nurse shaved my chow chow (this breed is not to be cut or shaved unless extremely necessary) half way up his back because he had skin irritation at the base of his tail. Nearly a year on and his fur has not grown back fully. I made a complaint to Nathan directly but found his 'not my problem' response totally unacceptable. I contacted the veterinary mediation service for advice and 8 weeks later they are waiting for paperwork from the surgery (surely a reputable vet wouldn't withhold information?!). Last week I received a letter stating Vets 4 Pets Altrincham will no longer treat my pets and I am to find an alternative surgery. I paid a substantial one off fee for their injections for life scheme and now it seems I can't use it and I doubt they'll refund me. Is this how they usually deal with complaints?? If you are not happy then you must leave? It is now in the hands of the mediation service - such a shame this surgery does not put the dogs care first. Read Less

Amazing. They're are the only vets I trust for my dog, parrot, and two rabbits. They're able to give advice for anything and are very competitively priced.
