Couldn't recommend highly enough! I was new to the area when I got two kittens and decided to take them to Barrington Lodge on the strength of the reviews - I'm so pleased I did. The kittens have now had their vaccinations and have also both been neutered (one boy and one girl) and the staff and service has never been anything but absolutely fantastic. I feel like Val and all of the other staff have treated Betty and Bowie like their own and have looked after them better than I could have ever hoped. I wouldn't hesitate recommending them to anyone. I've used this veterinarian practice for well over 30 years, I remember when Valerie was a new vet and when she became a partner, eventually taking over the practice. In all that time she has been an absolute gem of a vet, always listens, always takes her time never thinks your daft when you are concerned over a problem with your pets especially as you probably love them more than family. I've always had Golden retrievers they have been patients of the practice from 'cradle to grave', when we lost our last baby Emma, we were totally bereft as it came at a most difficult time in our lives, it was very difficult for us for a while but circumstances changed and we were able to get another beautiful girl called Meg. Taking her for her first vaccinations I realised the circle was complete for us, when you have a vet like Valerie and all her team you become friends, so losing Emma we had also lost the connection after many years to the practice, being able to get back into the routine of annual check ups and having Our Meg spayed completed the healing process of losing Emma. Unless you have a pet you may not understand. We can't recommend Valerie and her team highly enough you'll NEVER feel slighted or over charged, and you can rest assured your furry family member is in excellent hands.Read Less

Cannot recommend this place highly enough. Brought both my dogs here since they were puppies and the treatment and care we have had has been second to none. Getting a prescription for Stronghold cat flea treatment is like extracting teeth. Rescinding my comment after a communication error. If your pet has ever caught fleas you will understand how straight forward it is to rid your pet of the parasites. Your house is a different kettle of fish. Only cure is prevention. Read Less
