I have been coming here for over 30 years - excellent Vet and staff. We recently brought our new pup to be spayed. After 2 days she was running around as normal, scar has healed very well in fact you can hardly see the scar - excellent operation as normal.
I would recommend this Vets practice to anyone who want the best for their pets.

Appointment at 2 arrive early and someone else goes in at 2 so sat waiting around for ages ..Went in for prednisolone for my itchy dog ..instead was told avoid pred and sold 4 different things instead costing 120 quid none of it worked so new vets again when I can afford it to get what I actually requested and no works my dog got absolutely no relief at all from this vets costly decisions..avoid this place

After reading that this vet doesn't like cats I must intervene. I have had 3 cats in my life, all have been to Mr Davis. Cared for them all from kitten hood to elderly age (11, 14, 16). Not only annual boosters but one with skin cancer and one with thyroid issues. Wouldn't take any future pets anywhere else. Excellent care every time.

What a wonderful vet. He has looked after all my pets for over 30 years. You can get to see him 7 days a week without an appointment. He gives very sensible knowledgeable advice in the interests of the animal. He has lately looked after my beloved dog & came out to my home to put her down when we discovered she had very advanced cancer of multiple organs. He explained all he was doing & even took the time to tell my granddaughter she would be dreaming of chasing rabbits when he had given her a tranquilizer 15 minutes before the lethal injection. He was so kind & patient & allowed us to cope in a loving & caring way with our beloved pet who was not just a dog but a very much loved member of our family. I can't find the words to thank him & say just how much it has helped us cope with our memories knowing that everything was done for her & she had a calm & peaceful end.

Do not recommend this vet to anyone, took my rabbit with broken leg, rabbit jump out from high table when vet opened his cage(rabbit landed on broken leg)! Then vet start to checking his leg..moving around touching very hard .. this looked very painful and stressful for rabbit and it was without anesthesia then after diagnos that it was broken (without X-ray) he give him some painkillers and send me home with advice to left him alone in dark room! Didn’t do anything with his leg..

Excellent care of our fussy pedigree cats over many many years. The vets and veterinary nurses in this small practice care not only for pets in an exemplary manner but are also very understanding and realistic about their owners! Notably too, they are sensitive but completely honest about our pets' illnesses and in their respect and perspective of their quality of life. Sometimes in our attachment we can be tempted to overlook this. The practice is also very upfront over the costs, time and likely success percentages of different types of treatment.

We've been going there for c20 years cats,dogs and rabbits and never had any issues. Must admit it is an old style practice and customer service isn't brilliant. But Mr Davis has always been straight forward and honest. Once he even told us our elderly cat at the time needed to be treated like the queen mother

Please do not use this vet.
Uses the same thermometer for every pet without cleaning in between. Completely unhygienic. Has no care for the pets at all, rough, inconsiderate, uneducated. Stay away!

I have been with this practice for almost 20 years and they have always looked after my dogs with care and compassion, Mr Davies works briskly but gently and is aware that keeping them on the examination table causes more stress so keeps this to the minimum, when I had to let my old boy go he came out to the house and sat on the floor with me, spoke to him and stayed until he had passed on.
He is equally gentle with my elderly Jack Russell and a stray dog I suddenly brought in after it was hit by a car.

really disappointed with the service my partner received today (sunday 25th) my partner rang surgery to arrange a visit as her dog was seriously not well. my partner explained only to asked what did you want to do. personally I thought that was quite obvious that she need to see a vet. with the service she received it only added to her grief as sadly she had to make a heart breaking decision to have her dog put to sleep .

Excellent care of our fussy pedigree cats over many many years. The vets and veterinary nurses in this small practice care not only for pets in an exemplary manner but are also very understanding and realistic about their owners! Notably too, they are sensitive but completely honest about our pets' illnesses and in their respect and perspective of their quality of life. Sometimes in our attachment we can be tempted to overlook this. The practice is also very upfront over the costs, time and likely success percentages of different types of treatment.

Don't usually leave reviews but having read the one that says Mr Davis doesn't like cats doesn't fit with my experience. We've been going there for c20 years cats,dogs and rabbits and never had any issues. Must admit it is an old style practice and customer service isn't brilliant. But Mr Davis has always been straight forward and honest. Once he even told us our elderly cat at the time needed to be treated like the queen mother

I have been using this vets for 26 years. Mr Davies is wonderful, the staff are so caring and helpful. Any vet that has worked here, along with Mr Davies, have been wonderful too with my dog (who had heart trouble for 10 years) and my cats. I wouldn't think of using another veterinary practice.

For years this was a lovely vets practice but it has gone downhill, no empathy or understanding from the vets, and they don't listen to your concerns - and can be very patronising. The only part that is a saving grace is Ruth the veterinary nurse who is lovely. Take your pet somewhere else!

Please do not use this vet.
Uses the same thermometer for every pet without cleaning in between. Completely unhygienic. Has no care for the pets at all, rough, inconsiderate, uneducated. Stay away!

I have been using Flookersbrook for over 10 years and Mr Davies and the team there are just brilliant. Sensitivity shown there is just faultless and they will always try and help in the best way possible. They have looked after my dogs, dumbo rats and rabbits and I cannot fault the place at all, a safe pair of hands every time, with a wealth of knowledge and experience.

I have been with this practice for almost 20 years and they have always looked after my dogs with care and compassion, Mr Davies works briskly but gently and is aware that keeping them on the examination table causes more stress so keeps this to the minimum, when I had to let my old boy go he came out to the house and sat on the floor with me, spoke to him and stayed until he had passed on.
He is equally gentle with my elderly Jack Russell and a stray dog I suddenly brought in after it was hit by a car.
