I am quite happy with my usual vets and have no reason to change after going there for 26 years. On the other hand, green lane was recommended to me as a safe place to use for my cats when I go on holiday. So for many years now i have taken them there.They take my cats from Chester to their other practice in Caergwrle near Wrexham to their actual cattery. When I am due to return, they bring my cats back to chester for me. I cant fault them in any way. Every member of staff have been wonderful with me and also the cats. When I ring up to arrange their care, they tell me the cats names as soon as I say who I am, and seem to love having them back. Most importantly, my cats arn't stressed out at all and actually appear quite content. Obviously very vocal at seeing me, but relaxed as soon as they arrive home. I had my cat, Freya, speyed at Green Lane under the joint initiative with Cats Protection which was just five pounds including microchipping and two follow up visits. They were so kind to her and vet Miles told her she had "exceptionally long whiskers" which she was thrilled with. It was a tiny cut and they only took a tiny strip of her lovely silver fur. Our beloved black Labrador Ripley had started to suffer from seizures. We were really worried and didn't know what to do for the best. We contacted Green Lane Vets who were absolutely brilliant! The first thing they did was to re-assure us: this kind of episode was quite common in Labs and (more importantly) treatable. We had expert, friendly advice from vet Miles who calmly explained what the treatment would involve and how to make Ripley comfortable. One of the best things was the follow up. Miles took the time to make sure that Ripley was responding well to his treatment and that his owners were coping! A very friendly, hands-on practice that made us feel genuinely relaxed and looked after. Highly recommended. Oh, and Ripley? He's bounding around like a madman! Read Less

Been using this vet for 15 plus years and more than happy. The staff are warm, welcoming and genuine! The only problem is you take your puppy in for treatment and come home with a rescue kitten!! The little black kitten now named 'Archie' who will be visiting the surgery very soon for the op! Read Less
