The absolute best in pet care - our dog Poppy is almost a year old and has attended Congleton Veterinary Centre since a puppy. She had her spay procedure last week which for us and many owners is a nerve-wracking time. The care she has received on every visit has been exemplary and we have found the staff to be caring and highly professional people who take care of the anxious owners as much as the pets themselves! Special thanks must go to the particular staff who have attended to Poppy: Alice the lovely and skilled vet who performed Poppy's operation; the wonderful vet nurses Michelle, Wendy, Jen; last but but definitely not least, the fabulous admin staff Helen, Sue and Kathryn, who always welcome owners and pets so warmly and create such a positive impression, you all make a difference. We haven't yet met everyone at the practice but it is clear the whole team really work together to make this practice so successful, thank you everyone. The surgery premises are always clean and fresh with separate cat and dog waiting areas, and we would recommend the Pet Plan scheme as a cost-effective way to fund ongoing routine care for your pet. A well deserved 5 star review for a top veterinary practice.

We have been with Congleton Vets for 4 years now and I have yet to be dissatisfied with their service. The new separate waiting areas for cat and dog owners is a massive improvement, as my cat becomes very distressed around dogs so being able to sit away from them helps keep her calm at an otherwise stressful time.

Apart from caring for our own dog and 3 cats, they took in without hesitation a friends dog that I was looking after even though she was not registered with them. I couldn't recommend Congleton Veterinary Centre highly enough! I particularly like that they have a separate waiting area for cats & designated appointment slots for cats only.

I am not in the habit of leaving reviews, but felt in this instance I really had no alternative.
I am one of the lucky ones, who doesn't often have the need to visit a vet, but in the last 7 days I have visited Congleton Veterinary Centre twice.
Once when Sam my 11.5 year old lab escaped over two cattle grids and ended up being "accommodated" overnight. An alert was placed on facebook, which my daughter saw, confirming where he was and that a member of staff would stay on site especially until 9pm, just in case I saw the message and could get to him.
I rather embarrassingly collected him the next day and paid an absolute nominal fee considering all the difficulty I had put everyone to. Thank you.
The second visit was last Saturday when i took my 17 year old lurcher , Paddy, for a check up. We were first greeted by the receptionist, then Anne. A more empathetic and practical person I doubt I have met for a long time. She treated Paddy with the up most respect, giving me succinct and practical advice. As a consequence Paddy is now at peace.
So if you want a veterinary practice who really do put you and your pet first, offer value for money and genuinely do care then look no further.
Thank you everyone, particularly you Anne, Paddy, Sam and I are very grateful.

We cant thank the staff at Congleton vets enough for all that they did for Freddie over the last couple of months. We nearly had him put to sleep in December shortly after diagnosis but with their help we had another 10 weeks with him. He was happy and eating well during those weeks and it enabled us to get used to the fact that we would be losing him shortly but were able to spoil him rotten in the meantime. Helen was excellent in her care, even phoning in the evenings to check how he was. And when the end finally came, Helen and Jenny came out and put Freddie to sleep in his favourite spot, with sensitivity and professionalism. Thank you to all the staff. x

I am not in the habit of leaving reviews, but felt in this instance I really had no alternative.
I am one of the lucky ones, who doesn't often have the need to visit a vet, but in the last 7 days I have visited Congleton Veterinary Centre twice.
Once when Sam my 11.5 year old lab escaped over two cattle grids and ended up being "accommodated" overnight. An alert was placed on facebook, which my daughter saw, confirming where he was and that a member of staff would stay on site especially until 9pm, just in case I saw the message and could get to him.
I rather embarrassingly collected him the next day and paid an absolute nominal fee considering all the difficulty I had put everyone to. Thank you.
The second visit was last Saturday when i took my 17 year old lurcher , Paddy, for a check up. We were first greeted by the receptionist, then Anne. A more empathetic and practical person I doubt I have met for a long time. She treated Paddy with the up most respect, giving me succinct and practical advice. As a consequence Paddy is now at peace.
So if you want a veterinary practice who really do put you and your pet first, offer value for money and genuinely do care then look no further.
Thank you everyone, particularly you Anne, Paddy, Sam and I are very grateful.

Congleton Vets really do care for their customers and their pets. Staff are always friendly and offer advice and support whenever needed. Its the only vets that my dog loves to visit!

We cant thank the staff at Congleton vets enough for all that they did for Freddie over the last couple of months. We nearly had him put to sleep in December shortly after diagnosis but with their help we had another 10 weeks with him. He was happy and eating well during those weeks and it enabled us to get used to the fact that we would be losing him shortly but were able to spoil him rotten in the meantime. Helen was excellent in her care, even phoning in the evenings to check how he was. And when the end finally came, Helen and Jenny came out and put Freddie to sleep in his favourite spot, with sensitivity and professionalism. Thank you to all the staff. x

Furious isn't the word . Needless blood tests carried out making out that my little girl may not come out of the op if we didn't have them. Phone call after phone call increasing the price for a routine sterilise op. My dog had been there for 1 hour and the price had doubled and you wonder why people are scared to bring their pets to you. The laughable thing is they still charged us for the needless blood tests

This has to be the best vets in congleton. Will never go any where els. Each vets get to know you and your pet as you were part of the family and my dogs love coming to the vets to have a fuss. They know you when you walk through the door and greet you and your pet and when in comes to an emergency they go above and beyond. Could not recommend them any more!!!!

I have a scottish terrier and I take him here all the time, I've tried the others and can safely say this vets is by far the best! The vet was very helpful and gave me all the information I required.
