I had my male cat snipped n was nt really keen on the way things were handled although in pandemic had feeling not much care but recently took my older cat although not registered with them sadly had her put to sleep from getting in there n coming out with cat I could not fault how lovely they were n the compassion even wrapped her in a towel n a week later I got a card hand written with satchel of seeds (forget me not) it was so lovely of them to send me it n I can't thank them enough how much it meant although she wasn't registered with them so ty very much xx

For them to test for parvo .. my intelligence was totally insulted . They diagnosed a stomach bug put two pups on drip - after the rest of the litter start to get Ill I asked why they were not tested for parvo virus like I had asked in the beginning - they re tested the sample in the lab and it was parvo . We lost 9 puppies. They wouldn’t take any responsibility for my pups mis diagnosis and in my veiw killed my litter of big strong puppies , keep well away from these vets

They diagnosed a stomach bug put two pups on drip - after the rest of the litter start to get Ill I asked why they were not tested for parvo virus like I had asked in the beginning - they re tested the sample in the lab and it was parvo . We lost 9 puppies. They wouldn’t take any responsibility for my pups mis diagnosis and in my veiw killed my litter of big strong puppies , keep well away from these vets

I’m very saddened to write this review about Ark vets, however I feel completely let down by them. When I first joined the vets with my cat, they operated a 24 emergency care facility on site, of which I have used a few times. And was something that was important to me when deciding on the vets. I then got a dog, and registered him as well. A few weeks ago I needed emergency care for my puppy, so I contacted their emergency number as I’d done previously with the cat, only to be given a choice of 2 numbers to further call one based in Warrington and the other in Macclesfield. I called the Warrington number, the EMERGENCY number which NO-ONE ANSWERED! Besides the fact that no one answered the emergency number I was shocked and upset to realise that over a weekend afternoon/ evening/ night time, Ark Vets now out source their emergency care to Vets Now, based either in Warrington or Macclesfield, and you would be required to take your pet in an emergency location to either location. If Ark Vets feel that this is acceptable for emergency care then that is fine, however that isn’t something that I agree with and would like more local 24 hour emergency care from people who know my pets and also answer their phones. Ark Vets I feel should have informed all new and existing clients of the changes of their policies so that each individual person can decide on what they feel is best and most appropriate for their own pets. It’s not for Ark Vets to make that choice for their customers. Thankfully this time it wasn’t a life or death situation for my puppy, but despite not answering the phones a minimum 30 mins drive from Kingsmead Vets I don’t think is acceptable. And it shouldn’t be kept a secret.

I had to take my cat to the vets yesterday for the first time, I chose the ark at kingsmead as my two dogs are registered with them. Unfortunately she needs an operation, Andy explained everything that needed to be done and offered options he could not have been more helpful. I would recommend the Ark to anyone.

This is the best veterinary surgery I have ever been too. They take excellent carer of my four bunnies, and it is always easy to get appointments. The vet's and friendly and offer good advise on aftercare. You never feel rushed in and out. The animals feel calm and comfortable. They are reasonably priced for the treatment they provide. One thing I did notice was they do not give drugs that could be avoided with diet. The place is very clean and tidy and the receptionists are lowlight and friendly. This is the best surgery around.

I’m very saddened to write this review about Ark vets, however I feel completely let down by them. This is the best veterinary surgery I have ever been too. They take excellent carer of my four bunnies, and it is always easy to get appointments. The vet's and friendly and offer good advise on aftercare. You never feel rushed in and out. The animals feel calm and comfortable. They are reasonably priced for the treatment they provide. One thing I did notice was they do not give drugs that could be avoided with diet. The place is very clean and tidy and the receptionists are lowlight and friendly. This is the best surgery around.

Cannot fault the staff here. They are absolutely amazing and have looked after our dog 24 hours a day. Would recommend them to any pet owner.
