DO NOT USE THIS VETS!! We took our 6 year old dog here with sickness and abdominal pain. After scans we were told there looked like there was a sock inside him, after the operation we were then told it was pancreatic cancer "the worst" the vet had seen in his career. We were told a biopsy was taken and the results would be confirmed in a few days "but will only confirm what we know" When asked how long our 6 year old dog would have left to live, we were told "a few months with the right medication" Our dog was so poorly and after this diagnosis we genuinely thought about having him put to sleep to put him out of his pain. A few days later we got the results back and was told the vet had got it wrong and it wasn't cancer. The vets know they have made huge and dangerous mistakes but refuse to admit this. £3000 we spent with this vets, we got offered compensation of £300 for there mistakes. We took our dog to another vet and 6 months later he is in perfect health. This vets is dangerous, I have saw similar reviews and please for the sake of your much loved pets avoid this dangerous veterinary Read Less

Shocking Vets!! Avoid at all costs you could save your animals life. Took my 7 year old dog here numerous times over his constant scratching. He was going bald, scabby, bleeding and really distressed. Only to be fobbed of with steroids for allergies which he had never suffered with before. I had even suggested myself that I thought it maybe mites.. we changed his diet, shampooed, stronger steroids, everything the vet suggested we did and all to no avail. My poor dog looked on deaths door so we took him to Birch Road vets for a second opinion as we knew he wasn’t right. They immediately diagnosed him with Fox mites and said he was lucky to be alive. It’s thanks to them and us knowing our dog that he’s here with us. My dog had to endure months of agony for no reason with us watching him suffering knowing we were trying everything was torture.. how a trained vet was able to miss this I don’t know. Please beware I don’t want another animal or owner to go through what we have. Read Less
