I have been a client of County Vets Sandbach for approximately 15 years and have always been exceptionally pleased with the quality of service, professionalism and sensitivity demonstrated by all the staff I have dealt with. One of my dogs suffers with Addisons disease and also has thyroid and blood issues. The fact that she is happy and healthy in her 13th year of life is testament to the excellent long term management of her conditions by the vets who oversee her treatment. In addition my second dog, a newly acquired rescue chihuaha , will now live a long and healthy life as a result of the amazing surgery undertaken to remove a huge bladder stone. To be able to access such a level of intervention at my local practice is of massive benefit. The combination of young newly trained vets with a fresh understanding of the latest innovations alongside the older more experienced vets makes for a dynamic team approach and it is this which has clearly benefitted all of my pets over the years. In conclusion I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending this practice for anyone who is looking for comprehensive and effective care for their pets. Read Less

I visited the vets as my 4 yr old dog was having trouble jumping on the sofa as he did every day. The vet said he's probably pulled something so gave me metacam without really telling me of the dangers of giving it to him on an empty stomach. So my poorly dog was not eating and in pain. I gave him his medication as prescribed from the vet and he seemed to pick up then hours later he was bad again. I can't remember how many weeks he was on the medication but a month later my dog had hemerradged and was dying. I took him to the vets as an emergency case and they had us sat in the waiting room for what felt like way to long for an emergency. Anyway the vet looked at him and said he's got diarrhoea but because he was lethargic they kept him in. He was dead in the afternoon. Sorry vet but I can Never forget that day. Read Less

They knocked my cats teeth whilst worming and did not recognise this. 210 later he still needed a 250 op to fix. But they didn't tell me about not eating before the operation and so it had to be cancelled. Had enough now so taken him out of there. Usually friendly staff, but not well organised, expensive and I don't feel that they have my pets care at their heart. Edit: they have since called me and they dispute what I have put here. I'm afraid my view on this hasn't changed, however I encourage everyone to have their own opinion.Read Less
