After writing a review on Facebook a year ago I gave it 5* this was when I did my work experience, I had to delete this just to be able to write another one where I am completely dissatisfied with me ...
After writing a review on Facebook a year ago I gave it 5* this was when I did my work experience, I had to delete this just to be able to write another one where I am completely dissatisfied with me recent experiences! I'm posting it here for people to see who do not use Facebook. The prices are extortionate and I had to take my cat back twice just to be told the same thing which I already knew and they wanted to do another procedure, both together coming to 600+ which I wasn't very happy with! They never found out what the problem was it was always just "it could be this" or "it could be that" that was the same when I took my 8 month pup in, we never found out what was wrong with her if she invested something toxic and what it was, she had a seizure whilst in the vets and had to go the alder in Liverpool, even though I was able to ring they still never gave me any good answers as to what it was other than "she's getting better and eating" and again this came to 300+ for me not to find out what was wrong with her! The staff recently in medivet heswall is never the same there and I feel they just repeated what each other said all the time, I have now moved all of my pets to a different vets which I am more than happy with because they are not changing people all the time and they seem to know exactly what they are talking about more than medivet and the prices are a lot more reasonable!

After writing a review on Facebook a year ago I gave it 5* this was when I did my work experience, I had to delete this just to be able to write another one where I am completely dissatisfied with me recent experiences! I'm posting it here for people to see who do not use Facebook. The prices are extortionate and I had to take my cat back twice just to be told the same thing which I already knew and they wanted to do another procedure, both together coming to £600+ which I wasn't very happy with! They never found out what the problem was it was always just "it could be this" or "it could be that" that was the same when I took my 8 month pup in, we never found out what was wrong with her if she invested something toxic and what it was, she had a seizure whilst in the vets and had to go the alder in Liverpool, even though I was able to ring they still never gave me any good answers as to what it was other than "she's getting better and eating" and again this came to £300+ for me not to find out what was wrong with her! I have been with medivet risedale for in excess of 10 years. I cannot rate them high enough for being friendly or caring. Their extremely helpful and they go that extra mile on many occasions. I have 2 cats and 1 dog and sadly I had to say goodbye to her in 2015. To her the vets was her second home and she loved going there. The whole process of saying goodbye was extremely hard but to their credit all the staff were brilliant in what was a very sad day and I know that they care so passionately about all the animals that cross their threshold. I now have another dog who I rescued and was nervous but after a couple of visits she now loves going there too. I consider myself very lucky to have such a wonderful team looking after my babies because that's exactly what they are and I am never worried about leaving them there because I know they will always look after them as if they were their own. So Risedale. Kyumi Nicola Steph Sarah Rachael you are all awesome and do a brilliant job. I know you will always keep up the good work. Thankyou.

Totally DISGUSTED with the way I was given information regarding my pets treatment when I asked for specific treatment all the VET wanted to do was SELL me a package deal which did not include all the treatment I asked for, but would COST ME EXTRA even with a so called discount, then when I asked to cancel the VET had no regard to my complaint only concerned with me keeping this CONTRACT running so began threats of additional costs if I cancelled by this time I am very annoyed and had to take the matter further with head office. I would never use or recommend this vet practice to anyone.

Three cats, aging from 16 to 3. One has an impressive pedigree, two are girls, two are grey, two are laid-back, two love Dreamies, one needs regular claw-clipping, one is over 6kg, one has Colitis, one has had a Thyroidectomy, one has been spayed... twice (before we owned her). They all have one thing in common; they get amazing care and attention from MediVet-Ark Aid, Poole. The staff are wonderful, warm, kind, thoughtful, knowledgeable and make one feel that one is the only client that matters. They truly go above and beyond to look after our beloved animals. I would have no hesitation in recommending them to another pet owner.

My dog Molly had treatment in the Carpenders park branch for a lump on her eye, she had it removed all seemed good regarding payment from the insurance then I was asked for 54.74 extra, why I asked when I was covered and had paid my excess of 80, it seemed they went for a very expensive HISTOLOGY test rather than the 62.98, rather than asking me if this was alright they tried to get it of my insurers, and they said they will not cover it, as it was unnecessary. I then had a nasty letter from Medivet saying this can't continue, and payment had to be made !!!!!!!! , I had never received a letter from then about any money, so I rang the branch at Carpenders Park and asked what was going on, the receptionist took the message and said she will look into it, nothing happened, so a week later went it there and asked what was happening, she took a message and said she will get back to me, again nothing, then Anna was on holiday so another message was left, why should I pay extra money for something that was NOT neccary and no one at this branch knew why it was charged, was unhappy and think I will be taking my 2 dogs elsewhere for treatment as I feel the trust has gone which is a shame as I have been going there for 6 years Not happy at all, I know you have to make money but really

I then had a nasty letter from Medivet saying this can't continue, and payment had to be made !!!!!!!! , I had never received a letter from then about any money, so I rang the branch at Carpenders Park and asked what was going on, the receptionist took the message and said she will look into it, nothing happened, so a week later went it there and asked what was happening, she took a message and said she will get back to me, again nothing, then Anna was on holiday so another message was left, why should I pay extra money for something that was NOT neccary and no one at this branch knew why it was charged, was unhappy and think I will be taking my 2 dogs elsewhere for treatment as I feel the trust has gone which is a shame as I have been going there for 6 years Not happy at all, I know you have to make money but really

Disgusted willing to charge a pensioner nearly a thousand pounds for a beloved cat with no alternative advice when all the cat did was sprain his back leg they were willing to do every single test going, hence before their lovely warm foreign holiday with no thought to how my father was going to struggle, not one single bit of advice given accept from receptionist " well I hope he can pay" licience to print money vets, with no sincere help.
