We can't thank the Vet's and receptionist's at Lochend enough. I've been going with my pets for approximately 13 years and they have always been caring and patient through all the heartache and the good times also. I have to admit I was a little worried when Audrey retired but Peter has been fabulous, as have they all. We very recently had to have our dear old cat put to sleep and it was with dignity and patience, no rush and a thorough understanding of his condition was given so we could make the decision knowing it was absolutely for the best. Peter and co have filled Audrey's shoes very well! many thanks to you all. Alison, Jon & pets Read Less

Every day since October 2015, I thank Peter Sharp, Claire, and the lovely folks at Dundas Veterinary Group for saving my cat Brownie. Every. Single. Day. This Christmas especially. My cat swallowed thread and was misdiagnosed by another local vet for five days. By the time I took her to Dundas Vet's her insides were shredded and she was dying. Peter Sharp and his team worked on her for three hours until 10 pm on a Friday. She was critical for a month, and when she had to remain in their care, I was allowed to sit with her even when the vet wasn't open. Mr. Sharp was honest with me about the situation, and I knew, no matter the outcome, he was doing his absolute best. He said that her condition was so severe it tested his skill as a vet, and he did a wonderful job. She had several parts of her bowel removed and a large section of her intestine. In addition, she needed a feeding tube post-surgery. I was so sure she would be left as a cat with special needs. One month later, my cat is perfectly fine. If that doesn't tell you what a wonderful and skilled vet Peter Sharp is than nothing will. She has no problems eating or moving her bowels, and she is back to her happy self. We'll be visiting soon to give our thanks and Christmas wishes in person. But rest assured, if you have any problems with your animals, you have arrived at the best place in Edinburgh. I honestly cannot say enough about these folks. They are super kind, fairly priced, and have a genuine love and concern for animals and their owners.Read Less
