Terrible service , called at 9am as my spaniel has slight lameness in hind leg . I asked for either an appointment or painkiller and told the receptionist it would be helpful if I could get a quick answer as we were going on holiday the following morning .
Heard nothing from them so called back again at around 2pm was told a vet would phone me shortly , the receptionist then called back at 4.50 and said the vet would not prescribe painkillers without seeing my dog. I asked then for an appointment and was told they had none so I asked to speak to the vet . She eventually called me around 5.20 and told me it was “against the law” to prescribe painkillers without seeing the dog ( they gave her painkillers previously without seeing her ) .
I then asked why it had taken close on 9 hours for someone to tell me this and the excuse she gave me in very poor English was that they were busy .
Sorry but that is not good enough I’ll make you a bit less busy now as my dog is now registered with another vets practice .

This vets made a muck up on a pet passport, everyone makes mistakes but recently mistake was unforgiveable. Not to mention a very long 3 months of various mix ups and such like to get a claim form correct. This time though the mistake could have caused my boy harm.
The dick vet phoned and asked them to dispense a specific anti biotic that day for a bone infection. Instead the receptionist treated me like an idiot and said they had to order them in so I could choose to give a substitute incorrect antibiotic. When challenged I was told I could choose to give the wrong ones or not and it was up to me. Having spoken with the dick vet, who stated they had to be started soon and that the wrong antibiotic could make matters worse I was pretty appalled not only would they give the wrong one but wait two days to give the right one.
A little more concern and communication was required. I had to call vets 4 pets to find out they didn't have the correct one and only to be treated like an idiot.
One step too far vets4pets. Some pretty serious miscommunication!

Oh dear. My reviews seem to have been taken down! I can only give one star. On the plus side, I feel the vets, in the main are very good. BUT--once again another appointment was taken over by the vet giving me the hard sell. Truly, try this, buy that, yak a yak.
Mu other reviews covered the latest consultation covered my wee dogs treatment. I explained how I had bee given three and a half days worth of a drug,and was told I got get the other half for fifteen pounds if I felt I needed it. Putting aside the sell, sell, sell attitude of the vet, that was the only talk we had about the treatment. A few days later I though I may as well go and get the other half. Phoned the reception who told me this was not the case, then she proceeded to read out the consultation'. This bore no relation to the actual examination. According to the report, I had been advised to take the dog back down after a few days, (Never happened.) Then mention was made that he told me if she was no better he'd then he would prescribe something else.( never happened) Long and short, I could not get the rest of the drug for the stated price, but he had recommended another drug which she had had before---at a certain price.
So. minus 5vfor filling in false reports, and for going back on what was discussed.

Terrible service , called at 9am as my spaniel has slight lameness in hind leg . I asked for either an appointment or painkiller and told the receptionist it would be helpful if I could get a quick answer as we were going on holiday the following morning .

This vets made a muck up on a pet passport, everyone makes mistakes but recently mistake was unforgiveable. Not to mention a very long 3 months of various mix ups and such like to get a claim form correct. This time though the mistake could have caused my boy harm.
