Having used Links vets for more years than I care to remember I can't speak highly enough of everyone involved. I mostly use the Musselburgh practice where the reception staff are excellent and friendly. On occasion the Haddington practice has been used (a couple of times for emergencies) and again I have nothing but praise for the staff. Glen, the vet I generally deal with in Musselburgh, is happy to take time to explain and inform in detail his diagnoses/treatments and in easily understood terms. All the vets who have dealt with my dogs have been knowledgeable and caring. Great service!

We arrived with our cat on friday only to find out he was really sick and things where not going the way we had hoped! The vet sat us down and explained everything from surgery and his chances of survival , the problem reoccuring, and euthanasia.
After what seemed like an eternity of sobbing we came to the heartbreaking decision to put our cat to sleep as it was the kindest thing to do! All the while the vet was 100% professional but also caring towards not only our pet but to us as his owners, nothing felt rushed or unclear and we where able to spend sometime with our cat afterwards to say goodbye! 10/10 thankyou

Myself and my family have had the heartbreak in loosing our beloved dog Bracken on the 14th of November 2016 it was a devastating moment for us all, but the lovely vet and her lovely assistant who came to our house were nothing but perfect! They treated our dog with the upmost respect, they let us all say our goodbyes in our own time, we were not rushed it was all in the best interest of our beautiful boy, we are truly thankful for those 2 ladies you made this heartbreaking moment slightly more bareable due to you given him so much respect and allowing us to grieve for him, they did not rush us they did not rush our boy, they were so gentle and we are all so greatful at the care you gave him! He deserved nothing but the best even at the very end and you two lovely ladies made sure he had that! Thank you so much! And thank you for taken good care of our Bracken! I am terrible sorry I don't remember your names but thank you from all of the Young family

Thank you to the wonderful Paul at Links vet Haddington. I had to call him out last night to my sweet old pal Frankie who was colicky. He is such a sweet little pony and Paul was so gentle and kind with him - as always. It was my 50th birthday and although I was up until midnight it was not quite how I had planned my evening - I was walking in circles with the wee man waiting for him to poo. Horsey people will understand when I say the best 50th birthday present I would have wished for was a poo at 11.47pm last night. So THANK YOU PAUL from me and Frankie.

My thanks to Tom & Ian who have cared for my 3 dogs for years. Thanks firstly to Tom for diagnosing Amys underactive thyroid so quickly. The day i had her in the rehab unit for weight management . Tom happened to be there and i asked where all the hair had gone on her tail. Instantly he asked to run a blood test to confirm Underactive thyroid. Tom you are a star bringing Amys medication and thyroid under control gave her a new lease of life and energy. More recently thanks to Ian for seeing Amy on Friday such a busy day for you Ian but it was no problem to you seeing Amy and getting her xrayed when she became so lame . Here I am on Monday and Amys been diagnosed with Arthritis and hip dysplasia. Shes had a weekend on her medication and a session with the physio. Thank you Helen also. Many thanks to everyone at Links Haddington you are all worth your weight in gold.

The Links Vet team helped us whilst choosing a puppy with no obligations and now that we have acquired the puppy and are in the early stages of puppy hood, we are pleased that we came to the Links Vet from the very beginning. Their consistent advice and guidance has been invaluable when trying to understand the wide range of advice available on the internet. The Links Vet Group Practice Plan is ideal for us as it ensures we are providing the right care for our dog at an affordable price. The puppy parties are amusing and wee Jack had great fun. The Links Vet staff helped introduce Jack to the others dogs in a dog-friendly manner and he made a complete turn around from being a scared pup in the corner to an assertive pup wanting the play to continue whilst the other dogs paused for a slurp of water. We also were given puppy care and training tips to help us with correcting unwanted puppy behaviour. I highly recommend the Links Veterinary Group to any pet owner. We arrived with our cat on friday only to find out he was really sick and things where not going the way we had hoped! The vet sat us down and explained everything from surgery and his chances of survival , the problem reoccuring, and euthanasia.
After what seemed like an eternity of sobbing we came to the heartbreaking decision to put our cat to sleep as it was the kindest thing to do! All the while the vet was 100% professional but also caring towards not only our pet but to us as his owners, nothing felt rushed or unclear and we where able to spend sometime with our cat afterwards to say goodbye! 10/10 thankyou

Myself and my family have had the heartbreak in loosing our beloved dog Bracken on the 14th of November 2016 it was a devastating moment for us all, but the lovely vet and her lovely assistant who came to our house were nothing but perfect! They treated our dog with the upmost respect, they let us all say our goodbyes in our own time, we were not rushed it was all in the best interest of our beautiful boy, we are truly thankful for those 2 ladies you made this heartbreaking moment slightly more bareable due to you given him so much respect and allowing us to grieve for him, they did not rush us they did not rush our boy, they were so gentle and we are all so greatful at the care you gave him! He deserved nothing but the best even at the very end and you two lovely ladies made sure he had that! Thank you so much! And thank you for taken good care of our Bracken! Thank you to the wonderful Paul at Links vet Haddington. I had to call him out last night to my sweet old pal Frankie who was colicky. He is such a sweet little pony and Paul was so gentle and kind with him - as always. It was my 50th birthday and although I was up until midnight it was not quite how I had planned my evening - I was walking in circles with the wee man waiting for him to poo. My thanks to Tom & Ian who have cared for my 3 dogs for years. Thanks firstly to Tom for diagnosing Amys underactive thyroid so quickly. The day i had her in the rehab unit for weight management . Tom happened to be there and i asked where all the hair had gone on her tail. Instantly he asked to run a blood test to confirm Underactive thyroid. Tom you are a star bringing Amys medication and thyroid under control gave her a new lease of life and energy. More recently thanks to Ian for seeing Amy on Friday such a busy day for you Ian but it was no problem to you seeing Amy and getting her xrayed when she became so lame . Here I am on Monday and Amys been diagnosed with Arthritis and hip dysplasia. Shes had a weekend on her medication and a session with the physio. Thank you Helen also. Many thanks to everyone at Links Haddington you are all worth your weight in gold.

The Links Vet team helped us whilst choosing a puppy with no obligations and now that we have acquired the puppy and are in the early stages of puppy hood, we are pleased that we came to the Links Vet from the very beginning. Their consistent advice and guidance has been invaluable when trying to understand the wide range of advice available on the internet. The Links Vet Group Practice Plan is ideal for us as it ensures we are providing the right care for our dog at an affordable price. The puppy parties are amusing and wee Jack had great fun. The Links Vet staff helped introduce Jack to the others dogs in a dog-friendly manner and he made a complete turn around from being a scared pup in the corner to an assertive pup wanting the play to continue whilst the other dogs paused for a slurp of water. We also were given puppy care and training tips to help us with correcting unwanted puppy behaviour. I highly recommend the Links Veterinary Group to any pet owner.
