General Info
Opened in 1985, the clinic now employs 7 veterinary surgeons, 10 nurses, 4 receptionists and an office manager. The staff work as a team providing a high quality professional service with care and compassion. We have up to date facilities and an in house surgical referral service provided by Ben Walton MRCVS. The clinic also hosts the out of hours service Vets Now which provides a dedicated veterinary team every night and weekends/holidays for 12 surgeries across North Wales.

We have all our pets registered here and they have been excellent. Only on one occasion have we had to see the vet for an emergency and they provided an amazing service with which they showed great care with all our pets. I would, without hesitation, recommend them.

Fantastic team of vets, nurses and reception staff. Would not take my pets anywhere else. I had a very poorly dog witb a rare disorder who they managed to diagnose correctly and treat giving him an extra 5 happy years under thier care and monitoring. At the end of his life they were able to help him pass away with love and kindness. I cannot thank or praise them enough.

I wish to thank all the staff at Prospect House Veterinary Clinic, they have looked after all my pets for many years. Recently after a long illness our dog Lexus was put to sleep, this was a very hard decision to make.
We had a wonderful vet and nurse, help and support us through this hard time, they both showed great compassion and dedication during this sad time. They talked us through all the stages of what was going to happen, this helped us have a better understanding.
Once again we thank you all.

Incident this evening at 6:25pm. I went to collect a prescripted item for my dog. Walked in to find nobody present. I walked through surgery room 3 and into the back completely unchallenged. I knocked...
Incident this evening at 6:25pm. I went to collect a prescripted item for my dog. Walked in to find nobody present. I walked through surgery room 3 and into the back completely unchallenged. I knocked on a rear door to alert anyone to my presence and a member of staff appeared and I informed them there was nobody on reception. The staff member walked passed me, headed to reception then proceeded to ignore me and serve a customer who had barely set foot through the front door. The staff member succeeded in treating me like a second class citizen and, as I was in a hurry, I left. I am going to make a formal complaint. Pathetic customer service, no common sense and they obviously don't want pet owners to visit them. This isn't my first experience of their lack of customer care and reception staff with an ignorant attitude.

We had an unexpected visit to the Colwyn Bay surgery on Monday when our dog suddenly became ill. All of the staff were excellent and helped ease her pain and referred us quickly onto a specialist. I can't thank the staff at prospect house enough. My 5yr old cavalier was so ill I thought she would have to be put down. They were quick to help me and took her in for a day. Many tests later and being sent home with special dog food and 2 types of tablets she is like a new dog. Thank god we have good insurance so the vet could do everything possible to help.x

I wish to thank all the staff at Prospect House Veterinary Clinic, they have looked after all my pets for many years. Recently after a long illness our dog Lexus was put to sleep, this was a very hard decision to make.
We had a wonderful vet and nurse, help and support us through this hard time, they both showed great compassion and dedication during this sad time. They talked us through all the stages of what was going to happen, this helped us have a better understanding.

Incident this evening at 6:25pm. I went to collect a prescripted item for my dog. Walked in to find nobody present. I walked through surgery room 3 and into the back completely unchallenged. I can't thank the staff at prospect house enough. My 5yr old cavalier was so ill I thought she would have to be put down. They were quick to help me and took her in for a day. Many tests later and being sent home with special dog food and 2 types of tablets she is like a new dog. Thank god we have good insurance so the vet could do everything possible to help.x
