Thank you so much to the reception staff and Andy the vet,who made a very sad occasion were we took Mickey our family cat who was about 20years old. Mickey was a very friendly cat and was loved by everyone he met, he was well known were we lived. Andy was very professional kind and gentle. I very recently visited my local vets in connahs quay with my little princess Lucy, firstly I never knew the surgery had gone to appointments, but Vicky on reception squeezed her in and both her and vet I think was Aaron or Alex stayed extra late to accommodate her, they were so amazing and the vet even took the extra time to google map the mold surgery for me cos I didn't have a clue where it was. I've rang the surgery this evening cos Lucy was still in pain, I hadn't even finished my sentence and Vicky on reception immediately remembered her, and even said she went to see her yesterday, as a very emotional pet owner that brought me too tears again!!!! How lovely to know she wasn't just a appointment the receptionist even remembered her name, I wouldn't trust my baby with any other vets surgery personally. We recently registered with Grange Veterinary Hospital, as we were dissatisfied with our previous vet surgery. Since swapping to Grange Vets, we have had to visit them several times, with a variety of our pets, and we wish we had registered with them years ago! The balance between professionalism and a friendly manner is absolutely spot on, and their care/treatment of our pets has been second to none! (Special thanks to Sid for his superb care of our JRT 'Dinky') Their reception staff are friendly and approachable, and the new appointment system they have is great.....so easy to get an appointment throughout the day, and no long wait in a packed waiting room. Their prices are very reasonable too, compared to our previous vets. We had occasion recently to telephone as an emergency at 8:30 one evening, and after explaining our concerns over the phone, we were reassured that a visit wasn't necessary (although it was made clear that we were welcome to take our pet in if we still had concerns) and we were given some very useful advice over the telephone that we were able to put into practice to help our pet to feel better........by the next day she was feeling much better and we had been saved an emergency call out fee.....thank you Andy! All in all we consider ourselves very lucky to have found such an excellent veterinary practice, and would recommend them to anyone.Read Less

I don't usually publicly write things like this but a massive thank you to this fantastic vets practice. Having found a very distressed & poorly little bunny rabbit in the middle of a main road & asking 3 other places for help who I thought were best places to take in animals in this situation, the Grange were so helpful & immediately offered help taking him in. I think the poor little animal is too poorly to survive & it's best thing for him. At least he won't suffer on side of road. And thank you to the Grange. We went to the Grange Vets under difficult circumstances as our hamster was very poorly and unfortunately had to put him to rest. However, the staff at the Grange were extremely helpful and caring and didn't make us feel in any way that it was "only a hamster". I simply cannot rate this veterinary practice highly enough! The level of care, expertise & consideration exceeded each and everyone of our hopes and expectations. Our Husky, Misty, was in pretty serious trouble when we took her there, but under Andy's & Rory's care she is back to full strength. She has gone from being a lame Wolfie-Girl, back to one with full use of all four legs again. My advice, don't waste time looking at other vets, these guys offer the full package. I have two dogs, a puppy and an elderly. I am very pleased with the care they get at the Grange. The prices are fair. I am not pushed to medicate my dogs if it is not absolutely necessary. Besides, unlike with the vet surgery I used to go to before, at the Grange I do not have to go back several times before they able to make a diagnosis and the treatment is usually efficient. My dogs had surgery and they have been treated very nicely. The receptionists are lovely. I have met about 4 vets since I am going there. I do not know their names but each of them was brilliant, listening, nice and efficient. Highly recommended. My dogs also want to add: "woof! Woof!". And very soon my two cats will be clients of the Grange as well. Read Less

Having being left with a sick baby wild rabbit yesterday (Sunday) I was initally reluctant to ring the emergency number, but being at a loss as to what ese I could do I eventually rang and was told they would see be at once. Any reservations I might have had about disturbing their Sunday were quickly dispelled by the friendly and efficient vet who met me (Andy). I have always been happy with the level of care my pet has received but it is reassuring that my experience yesterday confirms that the welfare of any animal is the No 1 priority of this practice and all who work there. Late on a Saturday evening our cat had something wrong with his eye. We called the Grange Veterinary Hospital and they instructed us to come in as soon as we can. Upon arrival we were greeted by Andy who, considering it was late on a Saturday, after hours and he hadn't eaten since lunch, was incredibly cheerful. Everything ended up being OK, but I feel compelled to write a review here because not only was the service excellent, but Andy's attitude throughout the process was outstanding. He was patient, actually cared about what we thought, discussed things thoroughly and even a little sarcastic. Despite being late, nothing was rushed and we never felt like we were being pushed out the door - he took his time, explained things clearly and we even had a little chat! It's a little further for us to drive, but we've now made the Grange Veterinary Hospital our primary vet and hope to see Andy again soon. Read Less

I have visited both the Mold and Flint practices many times over the last two years, on the recommendation of a colleague, and have never been less than very impressed and reassured. The 'front-line' receptionists are fantastic and make every attempt to accommodate appointment requirements or suggest alternative solutions. The facilities in the Mold practice are fabulous and make your visit a 'one-stop shop'. My dogs see Andy who dispenses advice, treatment and more in his uniquely accessible manner. I travel miles to bring my two Golden Retrievers to this practice, passing lots of Vets between Wirral and Mold- one visit will show you why! Highly, highly recommended. Read Less
