DO NOT USE! ALWAYS UNDER THE IMPRESSION YOUS CARED BUT HOW WRONG WERE WE! 10 years with yourselves to be treated like this... Last July we brought our bulldog to these vets over a 6/8 Period before she passed in September to be constantly fobbed off and told it was her spine when in theory she was being crippled with a brain tumour and left to suffer! Fast forward to Tuesday the 23rd of March 2021 where we take our puppy of 10 weeks to get her routine vaccinations come home everything seemed fine. We then brought our male dog in on Thursday the 25th March for a routine operation (orchiectomy) picked him up that afternoon again no medication etc but everything seemed fine... We get to 28/03/2021 (Sunday morning) where both of my dogs are now coughing profusely they couldn’t keep anything down, shaking, thick green snot from both of them rush them to RHYD BROUGHTON VETS for an emergency out of hours appointment to get them looked at where I was phoned back whilst they had my dogs and told me MY DOGS HAVE KENNEL COUGH! We Wasn’t given any medication for our puppy but was for our male (first picture below) these same vets also told me to make a complaint to our vets as this shouldn’t have happened! Fast forward again to last Monday (29/03/2021) where I call up CASTEL & GREEN LANE VETS to tell them what’s happened WHERE THE MOST VILE WOMAN (Alice) answer the telephone to tell me I’m a liar there’s nothing wrong with my dog put it in an email and we will get back to you in due course... At this point I was completely flabbergasted so did some research and brought both our dogs over to Rhyl to a bulldog specialist vets where they treated both of my dogs for kennel cough with a vaccine each and these antibiotics for 5 days ( 2nd/3rd picture below) So today after the bank holiday weekend I’ve called up castel and green lane vets again (06/04/2021) to be told by Paul and Alice that our first dog that died of a brain tumour was inevitable and always going to die but when I asked over a two month period before she passed if my dog was dying they kept telling me no she would have 3/4 year left as it was her spine and why are we bringing it up now?! That is the words that just came out of her mouth!!!! So I move on from that subject as I was getting no where and was finding them to be very rude... focus back on the two dogs that I currently have kennel cough for Paul the vet and Alice the practice manger to says again to put in another email & wait for a reply up to another 7 days the conversation then got heated as I was crying, my husband then takes the telephone and says do I need to take this to court for the receptionist to say yes see you in court and cut the phone off... I feel I now have no choice but to make this public knowledge and go and seek legal advice as all 3 of my pets have either been left for dead or in a critical way! Since September we have been out of pocket thousands & thousands of pounds to be treated like this when very clearly our emotions are running high and worrying for the safety of our pets if you cannot take your dogs to your local village vets and feel safe then where can you take them?! I’m not one to air our dirty laundry in public but today’s conversation with this said VETS has broken us and WE feel backed into a corner! Please, please, please reconsider using these vets do some research because there is cheaper and much more able and compassionate decent honest vets not to far away that really will help and not call you a liar!
