Today I had a very helpful vet who alleviated my concerns with my cat and acted with great kindness and care towards my pet. However, previously my cat was checked by an older vet whom I did not fully trust to act in my cat's best interests. I find that this can be the case for most veterinarian centers so always be observant with your pet, as you know them best of all. The waiting times here have always been decent and have never been too long, today I went without an appointment as my cat was acting strangely and when I arrived I was able to be squeezed into a fully booked center just to quickly sort my problem out. It is a rather small centre with only a few examination rooms and a tiny waiting area, but it gets the job done.

My wee lad barney attended the "doggy doctors" at Rathgael for the whole 10 years of his life. He loved them as much as they loved him. The standard of care and attention he received over the years was outstanding. A few weeks ago, the last moments of his life, were made dignified and special as we made the decision to let him go. Fantastic staff, very kind, professional, caring, nothing too much trouble. Thank you. Linda and Dave Williams.

We took our family dog here - she was very very sick. Previous vets did not help. As soon as we came into rathgael the girls were so friendly. The vet treated our dog like she loved her just as much as us. Unfortunately she was too sick to carry on. They were absolutely amazing. I can't thank the girls enough. We then got a card through the door to say sorry for our loss definitely registering any other pets we have with these girls xx

Amazing, Friendly, Professional Vets!!
My dog suffered a cruciate ligament injury this year - I was very worried, so contacted staff at Rathgael Veterinary clinic and they couldn't have been more helpful. They made a short notice appointment for me and immediately diagnosed the seriousness of the problem.
Surgery was scheduled for the next day. We were kept fully up to date by Richard, the owner, who assured us at every stage of the process. Jane, our surgeon was excellent - she performed the operation faultlessly and in just a few hours, our dog was back home resting up and beginning the recovery process.
On our check ups the staff have continued to be friendly, impressive and knowledgeable - I 100%recommend Rathgael Veterinary clinic to anyone in the Bangor / Newtownards area.

Today I had a very helpful vet who alleviated my concerns with my cat and acted with great kindness and care towards my pet. My wee lad barney attended the "doggy doctors" at Rathgael for the whole 10 years of his life. He loved them as much as they loved him. The standard of care and attention he received over the years was outstanding. A few weeks ago, the last moments of his life, were made dignified and special as we made the decision to let him go. My dog suffered a cruciate ligament injury this year - I was very worried, so contacted staff at Rathgael Veterinary clinic and they couldn't have been more helpful. They made a short notice appointment for me and immediately diagnosed the seriousness of the problem.
