They do not deserve the one star! Totally agree with reviewers below. Used to be a lovely market town practice but the CVS takeover has changed everything for the worse. Newly qualified and inexperienced vets with no obvious signs of experienced leadership. Nobody remembers you or your pet. Very pushy when it comes to selling the medications (anyone would think they earn't huge bonuses for who sells the most)!!!? My pet was so ill that I took it to another practice and there was a noticeable difference immediately with the standard of care. However, sadly, it was too late for my gorgeous girl. I didn't hesitate moving to a different practice, even though it involved a bit of extra travel.

If I could have left a score of zero stars I would. I have been a loyal client for over 20 years like the last reviewer and totally agree with them that this practice is now all about money, not your pets. The care they used to give to your pets was personal, caring and extremely knowledgeable.As for cvs who have taken the practise over, you see different vets all the time so you can not develop any relationship with them, for a long time they had no out of hours vet, vet turnover there huge, they repeatedly do not answer the phone, how appalling if your animal is in serious trouble and now they check if you owe them even a fiver before you can get an appointment!! Seriously awful, I hope no ones pet is seriously ill or dying if you owe them a few pounds.Emergency out of hours vet there took 55 minutes to come to a seriously ill horse I had that was possibly going to die, totally unacceptable.my advice to anyone is to think seriously before going to this practice and do what I have done and register with one that cares more about your pets than money. I am certainly not the only one who has done this either.....

Have been using this vets for 20 yes. It has recently been taken over by CVS group. Now just a money making exercise for them. I wont be going back.

They do not deserve the one star! Totally agree with reviewers below. Used to be a lovely market town practice but the CVS takeover has changed everything for the worse.
