General Info
Established in 2003, All Creatures family run, state of the art veterinary clinic in Limavady caters for all your pet's veterinary needs and offers first opinion and referral veterinary services, hydrotherapy, licensed boarding facilities and quality pet supplies.
The clinic recently moved from the Greystone Road to purpose built hospital-style premises on the Edenmore Road in 2013. The landmark building is Ireland's greenest veterinary clinic, powered by solar and heated by air source heat pumps, and is equipped to provide a quality of care that ranks it among the top veterinary clinics in Ireland. The All Creatures team has designed its premises to ensure that your pet's time with us is as comfortable as possible.
At All Creatures, we understand that pets are family and we are dedicated to providing a high quality service and compassionate health care for you and your pet. With an ethos of thoroughness, friendliness and value for money, our reputation has attracted customers from all over Northern Ireland. Our veterinary team, all animal owners and lovers themselves, will treat your pet as they would their own. Our senior vet, Mr. Montague, has over 25 years experience in the veterinary field and is known for his personal touch and passion for high standards of clinical care. Mr. Montague has an additional qualification in veterinary dermatology so expert assistance is at hand for all your pet's skin and coat problems.
All Creatures now has three permanent full time pet vets. Dr. Louise O' Hare, originally from Castlederg, Co. Tyrone, graduated from the veterinary school at the University of Liverpool in 2013. She joined the All Creature's team recently in July 2015 but has already built up a strong following within the clinic. Louise's real passion within veterinary practice is surgery and she excels particularly in soft tissue surgery, orthopaedics, oncology and anaesthesia. She is well known within the Northern Ireland veterinary scene and is heavily involved in organising local BSAVA talks and meetings for vets. Louise is currently studying to specialise further within the field of small animal surgery.
Dr. Rebekah Skates from Hillsborough joined the team in 2015, after graduating from the veterinary school at UCD, Dublin. She is heavily involved in preventative health care including vaccination, effective flea and worm control, microchipping and neutering and she has a particular interest in pet behaviour, soft tissue surgery and eye problems.
We are now able to carry out more difficult fracture repairs and specialist orthopaedic procedures such as cruciate repair (TTA), patellar luxations including Ridgestop TM and disc lesions. All Creatures provides the full package of rehabilitation care by means of a large heated hydrotherapy pool, hastening the recovery times of orthopaedic cases, and improving arthritis and other musculoskeletal and neurological problems. Swimming at our pool is a great way for a heavier pet to shed some calories in conjunction with one of our effective slimming diets or to simply burn off some extra energy of a lively pooch - ask about our fun swim and bath combo! Or if your pooch doesn't lilke the water, we can encourage a speedy recovery using a class IV therapeutic laser.
All Creatures clinic has extensive medical, surgical and hospital facilities - we are always happy to let our customers see behind the scenes and tour our premises. We have a complete in house laboratory with blood, urine and skin testing, digital x-rays and ultrasound scanning. Our kennels are large and spacious with glass fronts and underfloor heating. All patients and boarders are exercised within a spacious secure well maintained grassed area.
We cater for all budgets but encourage pet owners to consider pet health insurance against accident and illness. For extra discounts on preventative care such as vaccines, worming and flea treatments, we recommend that you join the All Creature's Healthy Pet's Club. All Creatures provides subsidized dog neutering from £35 (Dog's Trust) and cat neutering from £5 (Cat's Protection League) and we are a recognized PDSA Pet Aid clinic providing financial support for pet owners in receipt of Housing Benefit.
Examinations with the vet are all by appointment and we will always try to accommodate you in the event of an emergency. We provide our own out of hours service and after 6.30pm and on Sunday the emergency vet can be contacted on 07763 882088.

Quite honestly would not take my Murph anywhere else. I don't usually write reviews, I don't feel the need unless someone or something has gone above and beyond. My dog Murphy means the world to me. Roughly a year and a bit ago he developed bad hips due to age. I had taken him to many places here in Coleraine and quite honestly was not happy with the service, nothing bad just not what I felt my dog deserved! So I looked online and read up here and there. To cut a long story short eventually went to All Creatures and thank god I did!!!! My dog is treated like a rockstar, nothing is too much, you are not rushed in and out and in all honesty the dog has been better looked over someone on BUPA. People that were once strangers I now class as friends who I know by name. Staff on front desk are great, Ciaran is a lovely man and the actual owner, Alex is one cool guy and together they give you the time, support and advice to make those tough decisions for the ones you love. Just today I quite honestly thought my buddy would not get better. His leg would not stop moving, within a couple of calls he was seen to and my anxiety levels went from through the roof to relaxed. I wrote this because I don't think these people realise how much they help to alleviate my worries and others they help. We are all human and quite honestly my dog means more to me than some humans. I feel awful for forgetting the new vets name today but she was great and yes it is there job but when someone seems passionate about helping you and not just wringing you for money then I feel it is to be commended!!!!!! Don't go anywhere else and thanks again, only two hours ago my world was honestly crumbling!!!!!!!! THANKS.Read Less
