Thanks to West Lakeland Vets for looking after my cat Blue when she became unwell on Tuesday night n she had to be admitted into the Whitehaven surgery on Wednesday for loads of tests. Special thanks to the lady vet in there that saw to her. She is a lot better this morning, on & off the bed, up & down the stairs, big improvement from the other day. Thank you, excellent service,

This vets told another customer , whom I had sold a pet too, previously registered by myself, to use my name to access emergency treatment on finance, then sent me the bill for euthanasia.
They then refused to treat my dog when needed, due to an unpaid bill that wasn't mine. I explained what had happened, expressed my anger, supplied the name and address of the person that should of been billed, yet still got an unreasonable bill for lancing an infection and supplying anti-biotics.
I would say avoid but they do the job and fix pets, and there is also a severe lack of competition.

Thank you for looking after our boxer dog today, who had surgery. We have been coming to your vets now for 10 yrs and I wouldn't go anywhere else. She came out warm and well looked after. She is our baby and even though she only had a cyst removed we were worried all day but knew she was in excellent hands..Thanks again xxx

Would not take my dog anywhere else for his bath and blow dry. Highly recommend Catherine, Rodney comes back looking and smelling amazing every time and he isn't a dog that likes to sit still.

I have an old Springer Spaniel who has had major surgery here, she gets her hair cut and wormed by these people as well as a quick check over by the vet while she is there. I could not want for anything better for my dog. This is a team of people who cover everything for our pets need and more! The hamster is next for his nails trimmed. Honestly the best veterinary around here. A great bunch of staff only add to this place I fully recommend here to anyone and everyone.

This vets told another customer , whom I had sold a pet too, previously registered by myself, to use my name to access emergency treatment on finance, then sent me the bill for euthanasia.

I have an old Springer Spaniel who has had major surgery here, she gets her hair cut and wormed by these people as well as a quick check over by the vet while she is there. I could not want for anything better for my dog. This is a team of people who cover everything for our pets need and more! The hamster is next for his nails trimmed.
