I went to Blenheim to have my pets microchipped, the receptionist suggested speak to the vet to find out when can I return to have my pets neutered and spayed ( I spoke for 2 minutes with the vet) then would charged £35 more on top of my bill for consultation!!!?? And the worst was the receptionists won’t tell you about this hidden bill for talking to the vet. Started off ok with our new puppy on the first visit, the first vet that we saw seemed very nice and knowledgeable, after that, we were constantly being told that we needed more and more items for the puppy costing us a small fortune, which I was happy to pay for the puppy’s health. However, we we noticed that the puppy’s teeth were never checked amongst other areas which we thought would be mandatory, though not being vets ourselves we thought nothing of it Further down the line we visited a vet asking about a urine sample, the urine sample was taken which is fine, but we were charge £30 just to see the vet which is ridiculous, we were also asked if we could clean the dogs ears, the vet opened a bottle and cleaned his ears, which was sneakily added onto our bill at the end of the visit, plus more drugs, tablets etc which he wasn’t even due for. After refusing to pay for the ear cleaner, and 2 urine sample tests (we only asked for one) the receptionist told us that we had ‘used’ the ear cleaner’ and that we must pay the bill. I saw the 5 star rating and hoped for more from Blenheim, however it became apparent to me that they care little for the animals and only try to charge ridiculous amounts for general checkups, I was charged £109 for a 5 minute visit with added extras that I never asked for. This was reduced after I complained but no budging on the ear cleaner that I didn’t ask for, and was told that I had to take it anyway as I was already charged for it We since found another vet in derby who automatically checked the dogs teeth etc, general health, shaved the hair around his genitals and even took us outside to give us advice on walking him on the lead, the visit took 20 minutes and we were charged £36 This is how a true vet treats their customers and animals, don’t be fooled by the ratings, Blenheim only want your money Read Less

These are the friendliest vets who genuinely want to help your pet. They always fit me in and seem really happy. Paul (one of the vets) helped me through a really rough time when my rabbit was seriously ill and ultimately passed away. Read Less

I cannot express how grateful I am to Blenheim and ALL the staff there after my cat was mauled by a dog. Their care and patience with him (he's not the best natured cat at the best of times!!) was excellent. Thankfully he is fighting fit again and up to his usual mischief!! Read Less

This vets is without a doubt the best vets I have ever used. This is also the only vets where the animal come 1st. I travel an hour and a half round trip to use this vets and it is well worth the drive. Can not recommend them enough. Truly are a fantastic vets Read Less

Paul Lewcock is the most caring and dedicated vet I have ever used. I wouldn't take my chickens to anyone else. A big thank you to Paul for stopping my chicken Doris from choking.
