At Companion Care we know your pet is a much loved part of the family and you want them to enjoy a long, healthy life. This is why our veterinary teams, made up of animal loving experts, firmly believe in providing the highest level of care and treating every pet they see like they would their own. Every Companion Care practice is equipped with the latest in technology, which means we can offer your pets the personalised care they need. Our practices are also designed to make your pet’s time with us as comfortable as possible; just like kids don’t always like going to the dentist, we know pets don’t always like going to the vets! Our waiting areas are light and spacious (and with floors that can cope with little accidents) and we also have separate dog and cat wards so your pet can recuperate more comfortably after any treatment. Our vets will explain all clinical terms so you fully understand what is happening to your pet and you are fully involved in their treatment plan. This also includes being completely transparent in our pricing, so you can make an informed choice on the treatment that you want your pet to receive. Come and see for yourself at your local Companion Care, why not take a practice tour?

I took an appointment for my dog.
She is an old pooch and recently she has been lethargic and had difficulty to stand up.
She also have a skin allergy.
I explain to the vet that she had a skin problem but also that lethargy problem.
The day of the appointment my dog was a bit more energetic but still not herself.
The vet barely touch my dog. She prescribe a very expansive antibiotic for her skin problem.
After that she told me that she couldn't see anything wrong other than the skin problem.
The vet never checked her teeth, her ears, her articularions even after I told the vet that I suspect my pooch of having a bit of arthritis.
I payed £100 for nothing because now my dog is really bad, her neck is really swollen and stiff and she can't walk at all. She is obviously suffering a lot!
At two or three days ago just after my appointment, my friend told me that I shouldn't be worried for my dog and insist on the fact that a vet would never miss something that big...
Well apparently it is possible.
It is a bank holiday weekend so an appointment with a vet now will be an emergency appointment.
I hope that it is not too late to cure my dog from whatever she is suffering from. Read Less

the service and care at this vets is fantastic. The care and treatment given to the animals is outstanding and the after care is also of a very high standard. I recently had to have my guinea pig put to sleep, the vet who performed the procedure was very kind and gentle with the sick animal and was also very compassionate to me. A few days after the procedure i received bereavement card in the post containing forget-me-not seeds to plant in the animal's memory. Never before have i received such good after care service from any other vets, Companion Care Vets is a very good vet practice. Read Less

There's a quick service ie test results, follow up appointments and phone calls. They really do care about the animals welfare. I have been to other vets and none have ever phoned up a day following surgery in regards to my cats well being; it's just that extra bit of customer/patient service that makes a difference.
Their pricing isn't as expensive as other vets either, which is great. we all know how high vet bills can get.
It's a brilliant vets and I highly recommend them to anyone who wants guaranteed care for their companions. Read Less
