Grossly over charging, paid £ 28.75 for dog ear cleaner, not special order, just of the shelf, to find out that it is £10.75 on the internet and £ 13.00 at 2 other vets, when we asked if we could take it back for a refund or credit note, 15 minute after buying it they refused. it seems that they can charge totally ridiculous prices and get away with it, very short sighted, and bad customers service. They used the Covid 19 card, as the reason we could not take it back, which does not seem to be a problem for any other shop,This is why they have so many bad reviews,

Have been using this vets for a while but the service has gone completely downhill over the last year.
Always always late for appointments without fail. Stroppy reception staff. We registered with this vets due to them previously being available on Sundays if required and now “due to Covid” they have closed on Sundays and show no signs of reopening. Really really disappointing and will be moving as soon as possible

We've been with these vets for 4 years and have always found the staff here very efficient and friendly , the vets and staff behind the desk always come and give our dogs a love! Unfortunately recently we had our dog examined by a new vet because she had a scar on her side that had swelled up, it doesn't bother her but we just wanted it checked out! He bent over and started feeling the scar and without any notice at all and without warning us he squeezed the scar so hard that it started bleeding! Our dog (Sally) was obviously shocked , it must of been extremely painful! She spun her head round and the vet jumped back and looked at us in dismay as if Sal was going to bite him! I can assure you that anyone who has ever met Sal knows there isn't a bad bone in her body, she is a Staff/ Mastiff/ Heinz 57 cross and is the softest friendliest dog you will ever wish to meet! My girlfriend and I commented after we'd left how rough he was and very unprofessional in his approach, we were both disgusted but left it at that! This week we had another appointment to get Sals injections up to date , we went in and were greeted by the same vet! He checked her gums ,breathing ECT and started feeling around Sal, when he came to the scar he didn't mention anything but started to squeeze it yet again . I immediately stopped him and I reminded him what had happened a couple of months before when he'd made it bleed, his answer was "I didn't squeeze it that hard" in a very blunt manner ! I said he'd been rough last time, but i obviously wasnt getting my point across clearly enough due to the slight language barrier. At this point I told him we couldnt continue and this was unacceptable! I walked to the door with Sal and said we'd never use these vets again and left, fuming! We went home and immediately registered our dogs to another vets just down the road!! Perhaps looking back now it would of been interesting if i would of grabbed hold of a certain tender area of his anatomy and squeezed as hard as I could and see what reaction I'd get off him. I really thought I could rely on this practice, and up til then I had 100% trust in the staff there. I can not fault anyone else working there at all as they are lovely!! But really feel it's time to move on !! 🐶🐶

I am very discusted with Donna at the reception.
I phoned up 2 weeks ago about a wild bird that was injured in my garden. I told her we have placed the bird in a averiy we have and during the day Mom was coming down to feed it.
During the night we would lock it up and open up first light.
Donna told me just let it go even though it could not fly, she was very rude and did not seem to care, the next thing she said was got to go I have a call coming in.
A week later we phoned another vet and he advised what to do and we did.
6 days later the little bird flew off.
The point is she did not care or she did not get advise from a vet.
Also I have just found out all vets are abliged to look at wildlife.

My dog always gets loads of fuss from one of the members of staff there that we see each time. She loves it! Had all the initial vaccinations done here. The vets are happy to answer questions. My only reason for not giving a 5 star is because it would be nice to have assigned to us one vet for the purpose of continuity as I find having whichever vet on duty that day isn't as good as building a trust with one specific vet, apart from that I'd have no reservations reccomending them.

Such a nice vets practice, the staff are really helpful and friendly and the level of care is excellent. Our 2 dogs have been going since they were 8 weeks old. They LOVE going and run to get their leads on when they hear the word "vets" which says it all i think!

My cockapoo needed a hip operation and every single member of the team has been so kind, helpful, friendly and have gone the extra mile at every step of the way. We've been with these vets for 4 years and have always found the staff here very efficient and friendly , the vets and staff behind the desk always come and give our dogs a love! My dog always gets loads of fuss from one of the members of staff there that we see each time. She loves it! Had all the initial vaccinations done here. The vets are happy to answer questions.
