We have a black lab who is nearly 13 and was struggling with eating and walking. We've used Coombe Vets in the past and went back to them during the lockdown period. Everyone who helped us was really friendly and helpful and went out of their way to support professionally. They also kept in touch afterwards, regularly calling to check up on our dog. We would not hesitate to recommend them. Read Less

A very professional, but also friendly practice - from reception staff, to nurses and vets - I cannot praise high enough. Even with me arriving late in the evening, without an appointment, which meant I had to be "squeezed in" just as everyone was due to go home, nobody batted an eyelid - on the contrary - everyone showed genuine concern and care for my dog and he received first class treatment and I, a typical worried owner about to fall to pieces, much appreciated reassurance and support. As the treatment exceeded the practice's opening time, the vets would have been well within their right to charge "out of hours" fee for seeing my dog so late and without an appointment, however, on top of the fantastic care my dog received (having worked both in medical and veterinary fields in the past, I appreciated the cleanliness of the surgery and its quality equipment), I was also pleasantly surprised at the modest bill I received! So lovely to see a practice that is in the business for all the right reasons, I cannot thank the Coombefield Veterinary Hospital enough for their superb care, kindness and reassurance, highly recommend! I have had regular contact with this vetinery practice for the last ten years, I rescue lots of elderly small animals and the care and attention we have received from the vets, nurses and admin staff has been excellent.Recently I took my very sick rabbit to them with a breathing problem..they discussed the treatment cost and probable outcome with me and saw us as an emergency, as the pet was so ill. The nursing staff were excellent..my pet was so poorly, she had to be oxygenated and hand fed with a pipette..without any doubt they saved her life and i am pleased to say, nearly.five days later, little mishka is making a good recovery and eating on her own again.Thank you all staff.. your dedication was amazing..kindest regards jennyd Read Less
