Amazing vet practice all of the staff are amazing and very friendly. When my cat passed away last year one of the vets that put her to sleep had amazing bed side manners and made sure that she was not in pain. Due to how well the vets are run since gettting my new cat I had no doubt in my mind that this was the practice I would continue to use. I understand that the practice does its own out of hours on call service and that any time I ring my call is answered and dealt with with 100% efficiency and professionally. I fully appreciate that the vets have a life and if I call in the early hours I will be waking them up but if this is the case the same professional matter is kept.

Absolutely disgusted if I could give a no star I would .
On Friday I ring because my dogs face is so badly swollen his eye was shut tight it was 12 at night. When the vet ancerd I could barley hear him he sounded like he was talking in his sleep or drunk! then I hear him say well it will cost you now a call out charge £80+ pounds I said I know that I don’t care I’m worried about my dog he then went silent and I said hello around ten + times then the phone went dead! He didn’t even ring me back I had to find another vet to see him and that vet said it was very unprofessional. When I got home I left Belmont vets a Facebook message saying how angry I was if I didn’t get him to a vet he could have died my dog is 17 and needed vet attention ASAP ! So today I got on to the fb messages and try to leave a review on there page and guess what they blocked me from the page to prevent me from leaving a review ! . I bet they did I thought but I shall be attending the practice to collect my dogs jab cards if they like it or not . How dare they I had absolutely no apology at all they just blocked me it’s outrageous. I also don’t like how they like to do guess work I want an X-ray on my dog they say no he don’t need it When I was concerned he might have bone cancer he totally dismissed it and said no arthritis well yeah but id still like to know that is it 100% . And the hard lump they didn’t test it at all just said leave it there terrible vets and I’m just glad my dog is now having all these test done that should have been done 6 months ago . I’m that angry I want to go to the local paper ! My dog almost died all I can say is it’s lucky I took him to a vets that knew what they was doing and could ancer a phone in a polite manner.

Not sure how to answer the one and only nasty review, I have a Springer and found the staff very helpful and caring. Regarding Mr Lloyd he has saved my dogs life a couple of times over the 6 years and also her sight when she managed to get thorns in her eyes. Surely if this customer had these concerns they should have gone back to Mr Lloyd not on this site complaining and not giving Mr Lloyd a chance to rectify.
As for the person making the issue where is your name, makes you wonder if its fake.

Horrified to read previous review. It would be hard to find a better practice anywhere. The vets are brilliant and very caring backed up by a great team of veterinary nurses. The receptionists are friendly and helpful.
As for money grabbing-never. Many vets are but I've never felt they were. Good veterinary care and the necessary drugs are expensive. If you have pets you need to be prepared for that.

Fantastic staff couldn't ask for a better vets. My mum and I have our animals with them and if we have had to have one put down they have been fantastic and they do it with such respect for the animal...

My mum and I have our animals with them and if we have had to have one put down they have been fantastic and they do it with such respect for the animal, when I had my dog out to sleep which was a very hard and sad decision they were amazing with him they comforted him through the whole thing whilst I was crying and they sent me a card in the post for our loses. Couldn't have asked for better people do have put him to sleep. I would recommended them to anyone

Fantastic, knowledgeable vets and nurses, supported by kind and thoughtful office & reception staff. It means so much to be registered with a Vets who offer their own out of hours emergency service - its makes a stressful situation easier if you see a familiar face and get continuity when dealing with your pets condition. Thank you all for your time and care, especially recently after the sudden loss of my cat, Squirrel.

A big thankyou to Mr Lloyd who came out New Years Day to put our much loved cat to sleep when he took a turn for the worst.
I would love to name and shame our usual vets who refused to come because they "don't do house calls" but would probably get in trouble !
It is a huge comfort that when it was time we did not have to wait for it to be convenient for the vet and our cat was not made to wait and suffer anymore.

Amazing vet practice all of the staff are amazing and very friendly. When my cat passed away last year one of the vets that put her to sleep had amazing bed side manners and made sure that she was not in pain. Due to how well the vets are run since gettting my new cat I had no doubt in my mind that this was the practice I would continue to use.
