Staff are nice but not a lot can be done at this surgery, if you require anything other than injections or a check up, you will have to travel to their Torquay branch.

I just wanted to express my gratitude to everyone for looking after Kev my Collie Cross for the past 16 years. Kev was a happy dog who loved life, and at Quarry House Veterinary Centre he always received first rate medical treatment and it was given to him with great care and affection. At all times I was kept well informed about his treatments and medications, and I felt confident in each member of the friendly, respectful and highly professional staff. Thanks to you all, Colin Read Less

Thanks to the incompetence of the staff at this vets we can't have our baby back home. Animals are just animals to some people but to me and my family they are part of us! We had star for 10 years! After her being found on the tip as a kitten we looked after her and she grew into the most beautiful cat ever! Unfortunately she had to be put to sleep just before new year but thansk to these arseholes we won't be having her ashes returned as they made a MISTAKE and requested she be cremated as a multiple even though they were well aware that we wanted her cremated on her own with her ashes returned to us in a pouch! But we dont get this because of a mistake! Absolutely disgusting! They way my mum was spoken to aswell was completely disrespectful! I will not ever use this vets again and I will definitely not recommend it to anybody! Read Less

Misconduct and incompetence After a family cat of over 10 yrs took a sudden turn for the worse and required emergency medical attention, my mum having not long lived in the area took our beloved pet to quarry house vets in Torquay. Sadly our little princess had to be put to sleep- my mum paid for a single cremation service, for our babies ashes to come back in a beautiful pouch, having waited a couple of weeks over the xmas period we allowed them extra time before having to contact them to find out where her ashes are and when we could expect them to be returned. Much to our horror we had complete disheartening news from the vetinary manager that there had been a terrible mistake, and our pet had been cremated as a multiple and no ashes were to be returned. Not only is this absolutely heartbreaking for our family it's complete neglect and incompetence on the surgerys behalf. Whilst trying to deal with this heart rendering news my mum has also been spoken to with complete disrespect by manager and receptionistRead Less

This was again proved when late last night, 10.30 Xmas eve I called the surgery worried about my dog. Really bad. I swapped my animals over to quarry house as I heard they had an excellent exotic vet on site. A few weeks after my gerbil collapsed in front of me so I phoned the vets to get an emergency appointment. I was on the phone for over 15 mins waiting for someone to pick up which they never did. Eventually I had to phone another vets who picked up right away and treated my gerbil immediately. Unfortunately she passed away. I'm disgusted at the fact I tried to ring 3 times and it just kept ringing and ringing. Would not recommend. Read Less
