Value TERIBLE AND FUMING!!! DO NOT USE!! They fobbed of my german Shepards lump on his elbow with cream and said come back in a month. I got a second opinion said no amount of cream will help that and they need to run tests and he will need to be opperated on!! So they misdiagnosed him and the lump has got worse when it should have removed to begin with!! My second dog is 2 month old German Shepard and we went in for the vaccines and we said she had mites and DO NOT DO A SKIN SCRAPE. Well the women did it anyway and charged us!! Even tho we asked not to do it because we already knew what it was. They also underweighed the dog over a kilo! I weighed her in the morning at 5.2kg and less than 2 hours later she only weighed 4kg!! We also got told not to bath her because it will cause more discomfort for the dog. "What a load of rubbish" said our second opinion and he has given us special shampoo to help the itchiness from mites. After using the shampoo the puppy is much better. Lovely vets and staff but left feeling ripped off again. Yet again the quote I was given was not what we were charged, we were quoted £800 for a cesarean which we felt was a lot but went with it, it was dragged out and we had to keep phoning , in the end they charged £1200!!! 50% more. I say ripped off again as a couple of years ago we were quoted £60 to £80 to remove a foreign object from our spaniels foot, the bill ended up been £120 and they failed to remove it, we had to take him back and they finally sorted it and then charged £120 again! I should have known then but Charlie talked me round. Sadly I think this time they have lost us and I would not recommend them again. Read Less

Great friendly staff who have taken care of my mischievous Labrador on multiple occasions. Their out of hours service is amazing. all of this comes at a price so much more affordable than any other vets. I'm not sure whether they are running a charity or all the other clinics are over charging like crazy. Read Less

They are absolutely fantastic, I can't praise them enough. They've been great in the past, and I had to visit recently with a pet rat. Caitlin was so lovely!! She took the time to check her properly and was so caring and helpful. I then had to phone a couple days later and both ladies I spoke to on reception were really lovely too! best vets in the area. 5 star service 5 star friendliness. I had to find a affordable vets pronto yesterday, I'm registered eleswhere as I have a PDSA pet aid scheme but unfortunately my paper work had been delayed that meant I would have to pay full vets fees and consultation after loosing my job in July I just couldn't afford it. The vets cost where I'm registers with are very expensive and so I frantically rand other vets . All other vets insisted I had to register with them and in doing so would mean my PDSA pet aid would become non and void I would also need to make an appointment . Eventually I rang milestone, not only did they not pressure me in registering with them but they also seen him within half hour of ringing them. The service was fab, I knew instantly my Marley was in safe hands and I felt welcomed, everyone was very friendly and lovely ... And to my surprise the final bill was affordable much lower then the full vets cost of my usual vets. My only wish would be that milestone would consider setting up a PDSA pet scheme. Sometimes our personal circumstances change and affording vet fees can be unmanageable. I am now considering pet insurance and registering with milestone. Thank you so much.Read Less

Have taken both my cats to milestone and all staff have been excellent nothing's to much had to put my family's dog diesel down 2 years ago and the on call vet was superb let us spend as much time as we wanted with him until we were ready to say goodbye hardest thing to do! Like to say a massive MASSIVE thank you to all the team at milestone vets, especially Angela, Charlie & Emma who saved my little tortoises life. My 3 year old dog attacked him and he had several serve wounds on his shell. After weeks of checkups, being bandaged up, given injections and finally having acrylic put on his shell, my little boy has made a full recovery all because of the wonderful team there! :) I highly recommend Milestone vets to anybody. Excellent staff had to go there for an emergency with one of my dogs and they where so good I have now swapped and they are my full time vets!! Excellent prices and care! It does get very busy so not great if you have a grumpy dog but that's our problem clearly they have an excellent client base! Would highly recommend them to anyone in the Torbay area it's worth traveling to!! Read Less

My kitten was poorly took it to milestone where it eventually passed away :( the problem came when my son and mother in law asked them to cremate him as we wanted the ashes back, they sent my dead kitten back to me, so we dropped the kitten off yet again and asked for him to be cremated and the ashes returned to us, still waiting now nearly 2-3 weeks later. All of the staff are extremely friendly, and are all very passionate about the animals they look after. Our dog Domino actually enjoyed visiting them! It is clear that they know what they are doing. Domino always got attention from the vets and nurses, even during just routine consults. They have always been available on the phone and their opening hours would suit most peoples lifestyles and work patterns. Recently our Labrador Domino was diagnosed with Cancer, and the diagnosis was explained to us with care - during an obviously upsetting time. The treatments were also explained, along with their possible impacts on Domino's quality of life. Milestone handle this kind of situation with amazing professionalism. Sadly Domino's illness progressed and we had to let him go - and the staff were again very supportive. I would (and have) recommended Milestone to pets of friends and Family. Read Less
