Moorgate is a mixed practice that has been successfully caring for all animals, small and large, for over 50 years. Our friendly team believes that your pets and livestock deserve the best treatment available from vets that you know and trust. Our vets and nurses are available 24 hours a day, 365 days of the year. We have branch surgeries at Moretonhampstead and Christow.

All pups are strong ,feeding well and mum is doing well to . You are all an amazing Team xx

Always friendly, pets have always left seeming happy and looked after. Not too pricey either which is great given there's no rspca vets or similar in the southwest.

These guys are friendly, helpful and trustworthy and not as expensive as most vets but not cheap either. All my pets are registered here and I wouldn't change it.

I ordered some liquid Tramadol over 3 days ago so it should have arrived today, ( Saturday) I was expecting a call but hey ho no call and they are now closed until Monday. But they did not give me enough tablet form of Tramadol to see me through to the Monday, that runs out tonight so what is my pet who is in pain and discomfort supposed to do ?????? Pay out of hours rates to get vet to dispense if it is in !!!!!

Have met the kindest most generous veterinary nurse ever! Thanks to Becky at Moorgate Vets for stepping into the breach at less than 48 hours notice, to dog sit for us,service above and beyond the call of duty and we can't thank her enough. It is relief to know our lovely dog Isla will be in good hands while we are away.

A fantastic vets all the staff are amazing ! We have been dealing with the practice for 13 years now and recently lost my lab Barney . Mr Arnold and his team were fantastic during this very emotional time as heart breaking as it was I couldn't thank them enough for there support . We still have another dog so will be still continue to go to the practice . Once again thank you to you all for everything and from Barney for looking after him over the years .
