We are a friendly, family-run vets with surgeries in Torquay and Paignton. Every pet is unique, and as a small team we can get to know you and your pets as individuals. Since taking on the practice in 2014, practice owners, John and Laura Mather, have invested heavily in refurbishments, new equipment and team training with the aim of offering the best veterinary care locally.
We are accredited under the RCVS Practice Standards Scheme, which quality assures practices and their facilities. Both our surgeries are ISFM recognised Cat Friendly Clinics.

I fortunately decided to move my Jack Russell from another veterinary practice, to Greenbay, shortly before she ruptured her cruciate ligament. From the consultation with John, through to the operation and recovery, Greenbay have been outstanding ! She walked out of the operation on all four legs and with the correct advice for her aftercare, she went from strength to strength. All the staff are fantastic, caring and friendly. I’ve mostly seen the nurses and receptionists, post op for her follow up laser treatment and have really got to know them, they are all really lovely and very professional. My insurance claims have been dealt with swiftly by Claire, she’s been amazing, ensuring we are reimbursed quickly.
A huge thanks to John and all that have treated Peggy and helped us through her journey to recovery. Thanks to Katie, Laura H, Ellen, Laurie Caz, Donna and Claire. We are almost there and looking forward to the summer when she can hopefully run free again.

I have been with Greenbay since 1998. I have 4 dogs now and others now sadly no longer with me.
They are Ace at Greenbay. Always friendly and there ready to help when needed. They have invested in a lot of new equipment and can now do keyhole surgery amongst other things. I wouldn't go anywhere else. I trust them completely.

Greenbay has fantastic staff and facilities, they really take the time to explain things to you. The vets are very experienced and knowledgeable and they took excellent care of my dog today when she was admitted to have her ear investigated. Would not hesitate to recommend this practice, their level of care and service is second to none!

Greenbay immediately provided the reassurance we needed when I contacted them for a second opinion. They were knowledgeable and professional, whilst being kind and gentle at the same time. Our dog needed a pretty big op on his mouth/face area which has been done so carefully and neatly. He's recovering so well. A great team, doing a great job. Worth every penny!

Since 1988, all my cats have been under Greenbay's excellent care - even when Mischa gave birth at midnight on my mum's bed (and she wasn't our cat at the time - long story!) they helped us with her and her babies. I have no doubt that Denver my current furbabe will continue to have excellent healthcare there. Thank you to everyone at Greenbay and keep up the good work!

Always kind and helpful - all my animals have been registered with them for years and years. They even managed to help when a goldfish lost it's tail due to a tumor and there aren't many vets around ...
Always kind and helpful - all my animals have been registered with them for years and years. They even managed to help when a goldfish lost it's tail due to a tumor and there aren't many vets around to help with fish! They have been in charge of budgies, fish, hamsters and cats in the past and currently my 5 Guinea Pigs. Would highly recommend them to everyone.

They are Ace at Greenbay. Always friendly and there ready to help when needed. They have invested in a lot of new equipment and can now do keyhole surgery amongst other things. I wouldn't go anywhere else. I trust them completely.

Always kind and helpful - all my animals have been registered with them for years and years. They even managed to help when a goldfish lost it's tail due to a tumor and there aren't many vets around to help with fish!
