At Companion Care we know your pet is a much loved part of the family and you want them to enjoy a long, healthy life. This is why our veterinary teams, made up of animal loving experts, firmly believe in providing the highest level of care and treating every pet they see like they would their own. Every Companion Care practice is equipped with the latest in technology, which means we can offer your pets the personalised care they need. Our practices are also designed to make your pet’s time with us as comfortable as possible; just like kids don’t always like going to the dentist, we know pets don’t always like going to the vets! Our waiting areas are light and spacious (and with floors that can cope with little accidents) and we also have separate dog and cat wards so your pet can recuperate more comfortably after any treatment. Our vets will explain all clinical terms so you fully understand what is happening to your pet and you are fully involved in their treatment plan. This also includes being completely transparent in our pricing, so you can make an informed choice on the treatment that you want your pet to receive. Come and see for yourself at your local Companion Care, why not take a practice tour?
I cannot fault Mark and his team. Sadly my 15 year old dog left this world today. I was recently widowed and had to do this on my own ( I didn't want to put friends who offered to help through it)

The sensitivity they administered was amazing.
I had lost many nights sleep over this but they were so caring and helped me through this difficult time.
I thank them soo much. Read Less

I had only called to cancel an appointment, not sure why I would have any reason to be rude or shout! Will never use this Vets again - have just sent a message to the manager about the staff member in question. Read Less

I unfortunately lost my cat last February, she was only 11 but had dimentia and arthritis, the vet Mark was fantastic throughout, was always at the end of a phone for advice and support and just as happy to check her over when need be. All of the staff were so lovely, especially toward the end of her life and when it came to her final visit they treated me and her with respect, and care and gave us some precious last moments in private with her, I have just rescued two more kittens and they will certainly be registered with Plymouth Companion Care Vets. Thank you all for your support at what was such an awful time. Read Less

The Vet who dealt with my consultation was Catherine who was brilliant.
They offer excellent value for money and they really do care.
Now with reference to the Reception staff I found the young lady yesterday was very helpful, warm and nothing was too much trouble. Thank you. However the other Reception member I find very matter of fact and not very warm. After spending 15 years of my life in charge of Reception in a multinational company I know what I am talking about.
I would highly recommend this veterinary surgery. Mark and his team are a credit to the practice. Read Less

absolutely disgusting! my husband found this dog last saturday and in all good faith we took him here to get him scanned to try and find his owners. We were advised that they definitely would not pass the dog on to the dog warden and would contact us in 7 days if no owner had been found as we foster for rescues and would have helped this little guy find a new family. My husband called monday and was told he was still with them but has called today only to be told that he has already been sent to the dog warden earlier in the week. The dog wardens do not rehome all dogs and many are just put to sleep! blatant liars and certainly not looking out for the best interests of any animals. how can a business that is supposed to be about helping animals do this....
