My 19 year old dog became poorly and vet came out next morning and we agreed he should be put to sleep. The team were very gentle with him, and me, and gave us time to say goodbye, left us with him for a bit and gently folded him in a blanket and took him away. Today I received a card and forget-me-knot seeds for him, made me cry, but was a lovely gesture as it made it feel less like he was 'just a dog' but important enough to mark his death. Read Less

To the people that are complaining about costs here...REALLY!!! try some of the other rip off artists that mascarade as caring vets round here..Ones that won't even start to treat you pet that is critically ill unless you can PROVE -up front- that you can pay for it! From the 1st day I walked into this practice I knew they were for me..the receptionists and nurses will actually smile and chat to you, like a person rather than a inconvenience that they have to deal with. And they have a sense of humour as well- bonus. I normally just see the one vet but have seen others on occasions- they all CARE, they listen to you, never dismissing out of hand any theories or observations you might have. They make friends with your pets understanding how much they mean to most people and they are always on top of the latest of what is out there in animal treatments. I have NEVER felt overcharged, and trust me I am not a rich person, never have been so I don't take charges lightly.
