If there was a rating lower than 1 it would be, my rabbit had an opperation and grew a green yellow scab on her belly when it was never there before said it was heeling fine when i knew it wasnt and then the day she went to the vets they said it looked fine and she passed that night. Before had she cut her belly open really badly and managed to open the stiches up and the second time didnt put her under and said they couldnt remove all the dirt from her wound and still stiched her up awake. And then after all of it they tried to blame it on me saying it was because she didnt have a certain vaccination when she was all up to date and never told me about the new vaccination but it wasnt to do with that otherwise my other rabbit would have caught the illness. They never wear gloves they touch all the animals in the waiting room then they touch yours not very hygenic.

Took my pup to Torquay vets.. The veterinary surgeon didn't even examine my dog or touch him. Prescribe Bravecto which hasn't helped at all.. Total waste of £60 and when I emailed to say not worked, t...
Took my pup to Torquay vets.. The veterinary surgeon didn't even examine my dog or touch him. Prescribe Bravecto which hasn't helped at all.. Total waste of £60 and when I emailed to say not worked, they just said.. May need more time, was 4 weeks after.
I wasn't expecting xrays etc, but I paid £60, just for a prescription that hasn't worked.
I was expecting the vet to examine my dog, look at his skin, ears, mouth, maybe take temperature.
As I've said, the vet didn't even touch my dog, just listened to me, walked off and got a pill.
Now I'm having to pay out more money, for another visit to vet.

Been with this vets since august - never had a problem. Always polite and friendly and they do a good care plan - 14 a month which covers flea, wormer and annual vacs.

I find the ones at Newton Abbot lovely from the receptionist through to the vets. Our late dog Kiaya hated the vet but they were always very patience with her and understanding. Kara our new border collie pup loves them and has not minded going there for her puppy jabs. I fully recommend them to anyone

Staff constantly trying to upsell treatments, operations, culture's & tests then overcharge you for prescription's by 70% !!! When you pull them on it they leave you standing around while they google other suppliers pricing then drop the price without any apology whatsover. Never again, going back to Bay View.

They always go above and beyond the call of duty. (Right down to the nurse laying on the floor to look underneath at our dog's operation site!) Thank you Powderham.

The staff have always been superb in every way, only place my rescue cat had ever managed tests or treatment without sedation and extra charge. Even got a sympathy card after they did everything they could to save him after a sudden illness. Will not hesitate to recommend them or register my new cat with them in due course. Thank you

Lost my cat Morris today. After being run over on Saturday, he had been in Powderham for the last few days. I can't speak highly enough of the efforts made to help him recover, he was in the safest and most caring hands. It's not the first time, i've lost a pet, but this hit hardest, mainly because of what happened to him. I'd like to think he knew everyone was trying their best for him. Thank you to all of you, you surpassed yourselves in looking after him. He was more than a pet, too quiet without him now.

Our nutty boxer Dave sadly had to be put down last night. All the staff were absolutely amazing with him and us, not only last night but the last 11 & 1/2 years. He was not an easy or sociable dog and certainly created a name for himself over the years. My husband and I want to thank you all so much for being amazing with him and for putting up with him over the years and for making our final moments with him the best they could be.

So impressed!!! First time I've had my own pets, every experience has been great so far. Every time I have been offered a same day appointment and my boys castration was sorted in a matter of days. They catered for his anxieties and kept me updated. The nurses are just lovely. Will be registering the rest of my animals with them soon!!

Lost my cat Morris today. After being run over on Saturday, he had been in Powderham for the last few days. I can't speak highly enough of the efforts made to help him recover, he was in the safest and most caring hands. Our nutty boxer Dave sadly had to be put down last night. All the staff were absolutely amazing with him and us, not only last night but the last 11 & 1/2 years. He was not an easy or sociable dog and certainly created a name for himself over the years. My husband and I want to thank you all so much for being amazing with him and for putting up with him over the years and for making our final moments with him the best they could be.

So impressed!!! First time I've had my own pets, every experience has been great so far. Every time I have been offered a same day appointment and my boys castration was sorted in a matter of days.
