Silverton Veterinary Surgery is an independent small animal practice providing an excellent standard of care to pets and their owners in a friendly and welcoming manner. The practice offers their own 24hr emergency service and the vets have full access to full nursing support in emergencies and out of hours cases.
The practice has been serving the Torbay area for over 25yrs with branches in Paignton,Torquay and Brixham.

This vets practice is brilliant the fees can be quite expensive consultation and dispensing fee but all vets are the same making it very hard for people to treat there pets
But all the staff are wonderful
The practice manager Mrs stone is rude uncaring and completely lets the practice down The lady’s on the desk are lovely helpful and kind my family has been the this practice years with Hugh is such a shame they have Mrs stone who really lets the practice down

Brilliant service. Fudge only went in for his yearly check and we have ended up having to have his ear flap removed due to a tumour. Everyone at the Paignton branch was so helpful and reassuring

Its reassuring if not slightly concerning that we may visit too frequently; but with Chief being my first dog I am constantly reassured by how well he is looked after and appreciate the advice and guidance we receive. Chief is known for his enthusiasm as soon as we walk through the door and although they have many clients the vet always seems to remember what we've previously discussed. Chief loves going to the vets a bit too much! Great patient and owner care! Would always recommend.

Very happy with the vet, she was amazing, thank you. However, Pookie has never been in a basket and is always on a harness and leash, but the receptionist wouldn't let me bring her in "just in case a ...
Very happy with the vet, she was amazing, thank you. However, Pookie has never been in a basket and is always on a harness and leash, but the receptionist wouldn't let me bring her in "just in case a dog wasn't happy, and it is practice policy". Even though I explained she has always been okay and dogs have never caused a problem, even those that barked at her. The other practice always allow her in and there has never been a problem. We were made to sit in the car for 45 minutes instead. Please, listen to your patients owners, they after all know their pets and how to control them.

To all the wonderful caring staff at Silverton over the past 14 1/2 years. Vet Richard and Vet Kath I would like to say thank you for being so kind to me and my dog Lucy, making Lucy feel relaxed when nervous. Especially in the last year when she needed so much more care for her arthritis, 2 tumours and loss of one eye in an accident. And when the time came for her to say goodbye, although it was hard for me to let go, I appreciate the gentle way Vet Lily and nurse Jade made Lucy's passing comfortable and peaceful at home just where she wanted to be, surrounded by people who loved her. I hope one day I will be your customer again.

After months of problems with my dog and my old vets being useless we finally signed up to this vets and had the best service today she really listened to us and finally gave us some great advice we have changed our dogs food now to help his skin and been given some treatment for him and already 12hrs on he is already so much better and not chewing his feet as much, we are so happy after months of seeing our dog suffer we have finally had the help we needed and will certainly recommend them to everyone really am extremely happy can't say thank you enough :D

But all the staff are wonderful

Its reassuring if not slightly concerning that we may visit too frequently; but with Chief being my first dog I am constantly reassured by how well he is looked after and appreciate the advice and guidance we receive. Chief is known for his enthusiasm as soon as we walk through the door and although they have many clients the vet always seems to remember what we've previously discussed. Chief loves going to the vets a bit too much! Great patient and owner care! Would always recommend.

Very happy with the vet, she was amazing, thank you. However, Pookie has never been in a basket and is always on a harness and leash, but the receptionist wouldn't let me bring her in "just in case a dog wasn't happy, and it is practice policy".
