On holiday and took my elderly terrier for sneezing issues. All very efficient, x-rays, camera and nasal procedures suggested and undertaken the following day. What they failed to inform me was the cost. My terrier had two weeks prior been under anaesthetic and had teeth out and medication at my home vets at a cost of £80, so did a quick add up in my head and didn't ask the cost, estimating £200. When I collected my terrier and was presented with the bill I was shocked! £588! I exclaimed to the receptionist that is was a lot and she asked if I had been told the price, which I answered no and then she asked if the dog was insured, which was also a no. I can only assume they expect all dogs to be insured and are therefore charging extortionate prices that the insurance companies will pay. The customer should be made aware of rough costs before making a decision to go ahead with any treatment based on these prices. My terrier is still sneezing. Read Less

After a lovely walk on Constantine Bay beach are beloved dog Impi suffered a stroke, whilst we were on holiday. We were able to see Harriet very quickly who was wonderful looking and treating her in our car. After 24 hours we had to make a heart breaking decision to let her go to sleep. At all times Harriet and the other staff were so thoughtful and considerate in helping us. The card they sent to our home address to make sure we were all OK was really appreciated.
