Priory Veterinary Group is a privately run establishment. Our main hospital is situated in Purewell, Christchurch, and our two branch surgeries are located in Highcliffe and Bransgore.
Our Christchurch branch is an RCVS accredited hospital, providing the latest diagnostic aids including digital radiography, endoscopy and ultrasound. We also have a newly established dental suite and specialist ophthalmology equipment, providing referral opinions and treatments.
Priory Veterinary Group prides itself on our own out-of-hours emergency care for our clients, so you never need to travel far in a stressful, emergency situation. All our own clinical staff cover our out-of-hours emergency care, so there is always a familiar face to greet you.

Very helpful staff and really do put the wellfare of the animals first. Can only say a big thank you to them. Will always do there best to find an appointment time for you and the vets are very knowledgeable but speak to you at an appropriate level. Parking is easy with lots of spaces around the back of the practice and a large and warm waiting area. They have a separate entrance for those animals going in for operations.

They go out of their way to accommodate the needs of the pet and its owner, including completely rearranging one vet's schedule to ensure that an elderly, fussy cat was put down by a vet that she liked and that I had a last memory of a calm cat not a distressed one. They never fail to attend horses even when the owner's normal vet won't/can't come

You get what you pay for at Priory Vets! Every single member of staff is friendly, approachable, hard working and considerate. The vets are highly skilled and there seems to be a specialist of every kind there, meaning diagnoses and investigations are of the highest quality and reliable. The nurses are delightful, and the clerical staff are always smiling, accommodating and flexible. I would never take my cats anywhere else! The centre is clean, well managed, on time and quiet. Truly a wonderful veterinary centre!

I've been using Priory for a number of years now and couldn't be happier with the caring support they give my dogs. They're professional, approachable, extremely knowledgeable and I have complete confidence in them. Everyone including the reception staff, nurses as well as the vets themselves go out of their way to help and advise.

I try not to use this Vet (Highcliffe) but sometimes have to because of the travel distance to the next vet without transport. They charge at least half as much again than any other vet practice and ...
I try not to use this Vet (Highcliffe) but sometimes have to because of the travel distance to the next vet without transport. They charge at least half as much again than any other vet practice and I never really feel comfortable in there from the moment I enter the door. Apart from one particular receptionist (Pam) everyone else that I have come into contact with have been curt and sour. The Vets never take time to make the animal feel comfortable and relaxed before treating them and I have never felt comfortable with the service or the price. My advice would be, if you live in this area and have transport then drive out to another Veterinary Surgery.

Very helpful staff and really do put the wellfare of the animals first. Can only say a big thank you to them. Will always do there best to find an appointment time for you and the vets are very knowledgeable but speak to you at an appropriate level. You get what you pay for at Priory Vets! Every single member of staff is friendly, approachable, hard working and considerate. The vets are highly skilled and there seems to be a specialist of every kind there, meaning diagnoses and investigations are of the highest quality and reliable.
