What a fantastic vets. We rehomed Obi (an 18 month old Labrador x Retriever) in January. She had been withdrawn from her training as a guide dog as she was scared of the vets. In fact she had to have a general anaesthetic simply to have ear drops administered. I registered her at cedar vets and was recommended to join their happy handling programme where Obi can visit Kayleigh the nurse for fun appointments where they work towards being examined and visiting different parts of the hospital and meeting different nurses and vets. We are on visit 3 of 6 and Obi is a changed dog. She goes in happy, has lots of cuddles and treats and has even been examined by 3 different practitioners including a vet checking her ears! Wow. Thank you Cedar Vets He's pleased to be home! The ct scans and ultrasound scans are clear They are waiting for some blood test results still to come back but on the whole really pleased. They said there is a high risk the cancer will return but could be months or years. The Vet has understood our decision not to go along chemo route at the moment as Charlie is his normal bouncy, loud Self x . We had to take a lab to cedar at ringwood today. We are on holiday, we very worried about our 3 year old lab. She was being very sick, for around 12 hours. I very sorry to say being so worried about her, we did not get the vets name or the nurse, but we would like to thank you so much, for seeing jess talking to us and the care you gave giving drugs, being so gentle with her, tonight she seems to be picking up, eating little bits of fish and now drinking from her bowl, thank you again for your outstanding service Read Less
