Priory Veterinary Group is a privately run establishment. Our main hospital is situated in Purewell, Christchurch, and our two branch surgeries are located in Highcliffe and Bransgore.
Our Christchurch branch is an RCVS accredited hospital, providing the latest diagnostic aids including digital radiography, endoscopy and ultrasound. We also have a newly established dental suite and specialist ophthalmology equipment, providing referral opinions and treatments.
Priory Veterinary Group prides itself on our own out-of-hours emergency care for our clients, so you never need to travel far in a stressful, emergency situation. All our own clinical staff cover our out-of-hours emergency care, so there is always a familiar face to greet you.

Been with Priory Vets for 15 years, never had any problems, always very helpful, can always get an appointment to suit me, reception staff second to none. I do have my favourite vets, and you can ask to see them if you want. The only downside is when one of your favourites retire!

They go out of their way to accommodate the needs of the pet and its owner, including completely rearranging one vet's schedule to ensure that an elderly, fussy cat was put down by a vet that she liked and that I had a last memory of a calm cat not a distressed one. They never fail to attend horses even when the owner's normal vet won't/can't come

I have visited Priory Veterinary Group in both Highcliffe and Christchurch for many years with different pet cats and have always found them to be helpful, caring and efficient. They have given my cats excellent care and have dealt with them with sensitivity and professionalism, both with emergencies and routine checks. I recently moved to another part of the country and they have been really helpful and speedy in getting some documentation to me that I needed for my cat. Thank you for your brilliant service over the years.
