Absolutely disgraceful, we had one good experience with the practice when we initially signed up but it appears that vet left and we then went on to experience misdiagnosis of our beloved 13 year old...
Absolutely disgraceful, we had one good experience with the practice when we initially signed up but it appears that vet left and we then went on to experience misdiagnosis of our beloved 13 year old dog putting him on drugs we are now having to whine him off, mix up with another dog on one visit, prescribing drugs he was taken off, while you are waiting in the rain outside you can hear all the team having a lovely time laughing and joking without responding to you waiting and to top it off completely unprofessional approach to complaint handling by the practice manager protecting a member of her team with attitude and blaming more junior team members. On submitting a complaint was told that one of the vets had left so I would need to contact them direct ….. they worked for the practice the practice is therefore answerable to the complaint. Disgraceful all that matters to this practice is money!

Have been with this vet practice for about 3 years now. Very friendly and caring and can always get an appointment that suits me. All the vets are brilliant and my dog has been so well looked after. The other good thing is that there are two surgeries, one at New Milton and one near Pennington so you can use either.

This vet practice is great it feels like a good old fashioned vets. The receptionist are warm and welcoming. I found that other vet practices just seemed to want to sell you their product ( food, insurance and so on) but this practice puts the animals 1st . On my resent visit to them I was expecting my dog to have a scan but when returned to collect him they said that they didn't need to do the scan which saved me a lot of money. Other vets I'm sure would have done the scan regardless. I wouldhighly recommend this vets

I have only praise for all the vets , nurses & reception staff at Forest Lodge and would not hesitate to recommend them. They have treated his epilepsy, old age arthritic joints and we have always had the best of care.

Last year we made the decision to transfer our elderly cat to Forest Lodge earlier having lost confidence in our previous practice. Throughout the last few months of our precious little girls life, we dealt mainly with Aidan, who we found to be an exceptionally kind and caring vet. He was highly approachable, took time to thoroughly explain everything and to listen to any concerns and answer any questions. We were very fortunate to have found such a good vet who seems to genuinely care about his patients and clients. Sadly in late October our lovely old girl lost her long fight against a bladder mass, CRF and general old age. She was 17/18 years old. On the day our hearts broke we couldnt have asked for a more compassionate and sympathetic service from the staff involved Mehul, Phyllis and Hayley. Happily, we have since adopted twin sister cats who are also now registered with Forest Lodge. We have to travel some distance to the surgeries, but it is worth it knowing that our pets will receive the best care possible. Highly recommended. The only reason I am rating 4 out of 5 rather than 5 out of 5 is because unfortunately the admin side of things fell apart after we lost our beautiful girl in that there were some significant and distressing miscommunications regarding our request for a private cremation these miscommunications were not what was needed at such an already upsetting time - but all got sorted in the end and our lovely girl came back to us safely and as requested.

Been using Forest Lodge for many years, but in the last 10 months since our Springer broke his leg we have had more dealings with them due to ongoing problems. Without exception all the staff - vets, nurses and receptionists have been very caring, enquiring after our lovely boy. Andy has been amazing, giving advice and great support to us all, never failing to keep us informed. Many thanks to you all.

The best vet's my dog and I have ever been to....even though I now live in Bournemouth, I still travel here....that is how much I trust their care and advice. Mr Wilson has operated on my dog twice and done a brilliant job, keeping the costs down and enabling my dog to keep his front leg, where other vet's would have amputated. I have been using the vets now for years I can honestly say that they are the best vets in the new forest area they take the time to get to know the animals and my youngest dog can't wait to get inside and if he can slips his collar to get back inside the practise. I did see a vet that I didn't know who was an older gentleman who was not as good as the other vets but put it down to not knowing me or my animals his treatment was good. Not every person is a people person

Can't speak highly enough of these fantastic people !!! A month ago our springer spaniel ripped her side completely open at the beach !! Not only did they talk us through the traffic to get her to them they were waiting in the road for us when we arrived !! Two surgeries and numerous visits later she is almost back to herself again !! Couldn't have wished for any better care when one of my cats was hit by a car. All the staff knew his name and seemed genuinely fond of him. With their help he made a fast and full recovery.

We moved to this practice with Aidan as we find him an excellent vet, even with a half hour drive. All the staff have been very professional and helpful. Can't recommend them enough.

We have gone to Forest Lodge with our Lab Bomber for over 11 years now since he was a puppy ! I have only praise for all the vets , nurses & reception staff at Forest Lodge and would not hesitate to recommend them. They have treated his epilepsy, old age arthritic joints and we have always had the best of care.

Last year we made the decision to transfer our elderly cat to Forest Lodge earlier having lost confidence in our previous practice. Throughout the last few months of our precious little girls life, we dealt mainly with Aidan, who we found to be an exceptionally kind and caring vet. He was highly approachable, took time to thoroughly explain everything and to listen to any concerns and answer any questions. We were very fortunate to have found such a good vet who seems to genuinely care about his patients and clients. Sadly in late October our lovely old girl lost her long fight against a bladder mass, CRF and general old age. She was 17/18 years old. On the day our hearts broke we couldnt have asked for a more compassionate and sympathetic service from the staff involved Mehul, Phyllis and Hayley. Happily, we have since adopted twin sister cats who are also now registered with Forest Lodge. We have to travel some distance to the surgeries, but it is worth it knowing that our pets will receive the best care possible. Highly recommended. The only reason I am rating 4 out of 5 rather than 5 out of 5 is because unfortunately the admin side of things fell apart after we lost our beautiful girl in that there were some significant and distressing miscommunications regarding our request for a private cremation these miscommunications were not what was needed at such an already upsetting time - but all got sorted in the end and our lovely girl came back to us safely and as requested.

Been using Forest Lodge for many years, but in the last 10 months since our Springer broke his leg we have had more dealings with them due to ongoing problems. Without exception all the staff - vets, nurses and receptionists have been very caring, enquiring after our lovely boy. Andy has been amazing, giving advice and great support to us all, never failing to keep us informed. Many thanks to you all.

Especially recently as she gets older and more frequent contact with them has been inevitable. And today their receptionist, Joanne, went above and beyond the call of duty for an injured animal. What incredible team! So grateful this is our local practice

The best vet's my dog and I have ever been to....even though I now live in Bournemouth, I still travel here....that is how much I trust their care and advice. Mr Wilson has operated on my dog twice and done a brilliant job, keeping the costs down and enabling my dog to keep his front leg, where other vet's would have amputated. I have been using the vets now for years I can honestly say that they are the best vets in the new forest area they take the time to get to know the animals and my youngest dog can't wait to get inside and if he can slips his collar to get back inside the practise. I did see a vet that I didn't know who was an older gentleman who was not as good as the other vets but put it down to not knowing me or my animals his treatment was good. Not every person is a people person

Can't speak highly enough of these fantastic people !!! A month ago our springer spaniel ripped her side completely open at the beach !! Not only did they talk us through the traffic to get her to them they were waiting in the road for us when we arrived !! Two surgeries and numerous visits later she is almost back to herself again !! Couldn't have wished for any better care when one of my cats was hit by a car. All the staff knew his name and seemed genuinely fond of him. With their help he made a fast and full recovery.
