Was such a pleasure to go to a vets where they are so passionate about animals. Our dog went in to be neutered and the fuss that was made of him was incredible. It was so lovely to see a vet who was so interested in our pet. Graham is an amazing surgeon .I was seriously stunned at my dogs lack of any surgical signs. Looked like 2 scratches on her tummy .He used skin glue so no cone/buster collar needed. In over 40years I've never seen such a wonder. The nurses and staff are understanding and kind in a comfy home like surrounding. Brilliant vets.I 100% recommend this vets. Graham has been fantastic, I flew my cats home from New York to stay with my Mum, before I return to the UK. Lily fell ill and this vets practice have been amazing emailing me updates, letting Mum & friends Skype me so I could see Lily. Thankfully she's home, but still not out of the woods, the UTube video and updates Graham sent me set my mind at ease. This vet is fantastic, I'd thoroughly recommend him and his staff who I've only spoken to, but Mum told me they too were friendly, warm and took care of Lily. Thanks to all. Read Less

Graham is a fantastically knowledgeable vet with a genuine caring concern for your animals. Even when you feel like you're being a pest, he'll always make time for you and your pets. We've also seen Liz, in Graham's absence, who is just as friendly and caring and did the neatest scar on our spayed cat. We also love Fran, the nurse, she's a huge animal lover and would take them all home if she could, so watch out! It's a lovely practice with a relaxed family feel where you know your animal is getting first class care by a very professional and friendly team. We're delighted to have found this gem of a vet. Afrivet in Poole is my local vet's practice owned by Graham Smith. Graham is the type of person everybody loves, so good with the animals & owners. I've been with Graham for some years now, even followed him when he changed practice, nearly had a fit when he took a year out to travel abroad with his family, but whooped with joy when he returned and opened his own practice.
