General Info
Our practice was established in 1987 in the heart of Canford Heath and has grown over the years, serving the residents of Canford Heath, Broadstone, Oakdale, Creekmoor, Hamworthy, Central Poole and beyond.
We now have a brand new surgery in Oakdale with hospital standard facilities too!
Our facilities in Canford Heath will remain
open for consultations, but all operations will
be carried out in the new Oakdale premises, so
that all our patients will receive the highest
standard of care. We currently have top of the
range diagnostic and surgical equipment
including digital X‐Ray technology,
ultrasound, up to date anaesthetic
protocols and many more services.
Our separate dog and cat wards with spacious
kennel areas, ensure a stress free stay for your
pet if they were to stay with us for day surgery
or need medical attention.
All domestic pets are catered for in a caring and professional environment to a high standard, by a dedicated team of vets and nurses. We have a well equipped surgery and plentiful free parking.

I had a house-call in November for my 2 budgies for an MOT and nail clipping. Dawn was great, gentle and professional, easily catching the boys in a soft tea towel. I collected antibiotics to cure the condition diagnosed, bumblefoot, and now Sorbet is as acrobatic as baby Apricot! Thanks Oakdale Ark Aid. Tweet! Tweet!:)

Lovely crew! Everyone so helpful and reassuring when we have to pay them a visit.Just like yesterday .. Little girl had been off colour for few days...called at 15.30 and told to pop her straight in ...

Little girl had been off colour for few days...called at 15.30 and told to pop her straight in to be checked out...so glad we did as she had temperature caused by a tummy infection...now on antibiotics and the road to recovery ... Thank you all!!!
