Always used to take my beloved rescued greyhounds here. Exceptional service my dogs were nervous around people but they were always made to feel comfortable here and the staff were always friendly and compassionate towards us as owners aswel as the dogs. We moved to the village nearly two years ago and looked for a veterinary practice that could offer the care, genuine love of animals and professionalism we were after. Tysul Vets has more than met our requirements. The practice is wonderful; completely so. The location is central to Llandysul, convenient and with plenty of parking spaces. The waiting room is so welcoming for the various 'patients', clean and well-laid out. The administrative staff are lovely with the animals and always make a genuine effort to get to know them. We have had many visits over the past two years and never had to wait long for a consultation. Our cats, dog and chickens have been given exemplary treatment and as their 'surrogate parents' we have witnessed gentleness, compassion, supplemented with clear explanations, diagnoses and treatment plan. Have been registered with these vets for a number of years and have had superb treatment and care on every occasion.....I have had others tell me they aren't the cheapest but I would never put a price on my pets life's over care. Would just like to thank Ruth for being so kind to me when she came to help my horse Ruby. She had become very sick quite suddenly and couldn't stand. Ruth came out immediately to give emergency care. She was in so much pain which was devastating for me. My horse was so sick that she probably wouldn't have made it through the night, and other options could possibly have just prolonged her pain. she talked us through all other options but we determined that her going peacefully would be the kindest. She did not rush me or my decision. She was very kind and comforting during the whole situation and was nothing but supportive. Ruth is a true credit to this practice. I have to agree with the previous comments left on this Veterinary Practice. This practice appears to be somewhat a little materialistic and money-orientated, and so, I don't believe their actions will always be whole-heartedly in the interest of the Animal in which they are treating, more so generating revenue in getting you back through the door as many times as possible. The age old story with certain Veterinary practitioners who go into the profession for the money, instead of a love for the job itself.  We do not use this practice any more. We want to know our animals come first, and of which, we feel their ailments not treated thoroughly and promptly in save of a few more unnecessary appointments, which of course attract more consult fees and put the animal under more unnecessary distress.
