I have recently used this vets for a second opinion, unfortunately it wasn’t the news that we had hoped for, however it wasn’t unexpected. Considering they didn’t know myself or my pet they where so kind, considerate and there empathy was so heartwarming and sincere. I would definitely recommend The Gables.

Tried to insist on surgery for my guinea, and kept saying that he was basically going to die. Vet gave off wrong vibe/impression, and was touching his balls instead of the area that needed to be examined.
Took him elsewhere, he got lanced and hes so much better now.

Had an extremely poor experience with this surgery recently. I Had a very sick dog and after spending £1300 they were unable to give a useful diagnosis. After visiting this vet after my dog had been very poorly overnight, as I was describing the symptoms to the vet, he turned his back on me and walked off while I was mid sentence. I had not been rude or offensive to the vet. Just what you want when you have a very ill dog who you are concerned about. This vet just kept fobbing me off by testing my dogs blood pcv level every so many days and still taking my money.
After this incident, I went to a professional Vetinary surgery In Barnsley who had a diagnosis in three hours.
Clearly all of the staff here are visibly scared to death of this vet. He is very rude and unsympathetic. I would not recommend this vet to anybody.

Took cat to have nails clipped. Vet Nurse let a student nurse cut the nails WITHOUT asking me if this is ok, student nurse cut nail at the wrong point and made the cats pad bleed(!!) The Vet Nurse then tried to blame this on the cats nails saying it must have grown into the pad. Wouldnt even accept responsibility. Very poor. Not going back.

I have recently used this vets for a second opinion, unfortunately it wasn’t the news that we had hoped for, however it wasn’t unexpected. Considering they didn’t know myself or my pet they where so kind, considerate and there empathy was so heartwarming and sincere. I would definitely recommend The Gables.

Had an extremely poor experience with this surgery recently. I Had a very sick dog and after spending £1300 they were unable to give a useful diagnosis.
